On Tuesday April 23, The Duchess of Edinburgh visited The King’s Arms Project, a charity dedicated to tackling homelessness, displacement, and isolation in the Bedford area. During the visit, The Duchess of Edinburgh joined an English language class to find out how immigrant and refugee women are gaining independence through learning the language they need for everyday conversations and interactions. King’s Arms Project is a charity tackling homelessness, displacement and isolation in Bedford and beyond.
Max Mara Camel Blazer
Gabriela Hearst Seymore dress
Un peu fade la couleur camel de son blazer et de plus, légèrement trop long pour être porté sur cette robe gris perlé ; j'aime bien la manière dont elle a coiffé ses cheveux !
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit on Sophie.
ReplyDeleteSophie looks pretty here. I like the different fabric on the sleeves of her jacket and love her shoes.

This bland outfit all blends together…terrible.
ReplyDeleteI admire the Duchess of Edinburgh hugely and hate to be critical of her. I think she does a fabulous job. However, I have to agree with you re this outfit. It's got no obvious good points that I can see, apart from the shoes which look good.
DeleteSophie looks great. The complimentary shades of taupe are quite chic. Her shoes are a great addition to the overall look. Her makeup is done quite nicely here too.

The dress, shoes and bag are good. The colour of the jacket is ok it is just too long to be worn over the dress. At least she is dressed in a modest manner considering the nature of the visit.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress and the blazer but not together looks a bit colorless….Sophie seems a lovely lady.
ReplyDelete3 or 4 years ago this was big chic fashion among royal ladies. The combination of camel and light grey (although here it is more a color I call "greige" = a mix of grey and beige). Here the length of the dress doesn't disturb me because the blazer is long too. The dress worn like on the model can be combined with a cape in camel color of the same or a little bit longer length than the dress. A grey hat, gloves and handbag finished the look.
ReplyDeleteSophie has beautiful makeup and hair. The jacket fits her very well, the dress is a little pale, but she looks very elegant.

She should have selected a cropped jacket for this midi (almost maxi) dress. The Max Mara jacket is tailored such that it can be worn with pants (matching or otherwise).
