King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia presented HM The King's Medals to the Swedish athletes

On 9 April, 2024, King Carl Gustaf presented HM The King's Medals to the Swedish athletes who have been successful last year. The medal ceremony was held in Princess Sibylla's Apartments at Stockholm Royal Palace. Queen Silvia was also present at the medal ceremony.

The awarding of HM The King's Medals began in 1813. The medals that are awarded in a number of different sizes are presented to Swedish and foreign citizens who have made exceptional contributions in Swedish sport.

  1. I like the dress and necklace (and hair) on the lady in the chair. Lovely fabric. The other ladies look good, too, and everyone looks pleased as punch to be there.
