On April 15, 2024, Crown Princess Victoria presented the gold medals and the Dairy Farmer of the Year Award of the Federation of Swedish Farmers (LRF - Lantbrukarnas Riksförbund) to the Swedish farmers. The ceremony took place in the Bernadotte Library at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. The Federation of Swedish Farmers (LRF) has about 170 000 members, who represent nearly 90 000 agricultural and forestry enterprises.
For the first time in 1958, King Gustav VI Adolf presented the Federation's gold medals to dairy farmers whose milk was of exceptional quality. The gold medals have been awarded traditionally by the Swedish royals since then.

Love this dress on Victoria. Nice colours and fabric pattern - fresh and spring-like.
ReplyDeleteI also like the long version on the model.

I actually prefer it long, although maybe not appropriate for this event. LRB
Delete@Anon 17:22 Yes, agreed - I wasn't thinking the longer length for this event. I was thinking for a smart hostess 'Spring evening dinner with friends' type of event.

Stunning.
ReplyDeleteA lovely spring dress which I think we have seen before.
ReplyDeleteNice dress!
ReplyDeleteI feel CPV looks fantastic in this floral dress (and am glad she opted for the shorter version of it)
ReplyDeleteI like the dress very much. I also prefer the shorter version. The dress fits the CP very well. I would have liked the dress even more in a plain color (coral, pink/orange, green, etc...) instead of the big flowers. I know it is a repeat and I think CP Victoria is well aware about the climate changes and cares for the planet. So, maybe we will see this dress again this Spring and/or Summer.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The striking floral print and the more open neckline really suit CPV. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely colour to herald in the season of spring.
ReplyDeleteThe princess seems to be a faithful client to the Swedish fashion house “BY MALINA”
Jolie Victoria dans cette robe imprimée fleurie déjà portée ; j'aime bien ses petites boucles d'oreilles à perle unique !
ReplyDeleteI would like to see the farmer's dresses!
ReplyDeleteMalina is CP Victorias go to.This doesn’t disappoint. It’s fresh, and springlike. The blue pumps compliment the blue in the dress nicely.Gweni
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue color, nice spring print, knee-length and well fitted….fantastic all around!
ReplyDeleteGreat look!
ReplyDeleteNo. And those wide sleeves destroys the look. No. She’s a young woman and this is not a dress for her. C
ReplyDeleteBut all young women dress like that. Since it is repeat, last summer we saw a lot of wide sleeves. This summer I think we will see them not so often. In fashion it is always like that, there are things that last more than a couple of seasons and there are things that disappear after one season.
DeleteBlue and white are my favourite colours but there is something about this dress that does not sit right with me. I think it is the sleeves. A short less wide sleeve had been better imho.
ReplyDeleteShe has the most wonderful smile, it lights up the room. The dress is lovely on her.
ReplyDeleteWow - she looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice look for Victoria today. css
ReplyDeleteVictorias dress is so pretty;the shoes are just right;matching clutch bag,so stylish. There are a lot of farmers in Sweden;I am surprised;all those dairy farmers;congratulations to them. (Tara)
ReplyDeleteSweden is a big country with a lot of open space and a lot of forests. I never went to Sweden but my son did for his work. He said in Sweden one can still breed fresh and pure air.
DeleteLovely feminine dress!
ReplyDeleteCP Victoria, lovely as ever. The dress we've seen before, yet it is always pleasant.
