On April 23, Queen Maxima paid a working visit to the Schoenenkwartier Shoe Museum (Shoe Quarter) in Waalwijk. In addition to the museum, the Schoenenkwartier that reopened in 2022 also houses a knowledge center and a Shoe Lab. The Shoe Quarter stimulates innovation and entrepreneurship for the regional economy from Waalwijk, the heart of De Langstraat.
The Queen toured the new family exhibition 'Put on your daring shoes'. Students showed their designs created during a school project on a catwalk under the theme 'Design your naughtiest shoes'. In the shoe lab, the Queen also met with artisan shoemakers, designers and students who work together in this professional workshop and learning place by gathering knowledge and conducting research.

Voilà que je retrouve Maxima dans un ensemble monochrome de couleur Bordeaux ; bonne idée que d'avoir ressorti de leur écrin ses petites boucles d'oreilles blanches/Bordeaux !
ReplyDeleteI like this suit and blouse. Good colour on her. Inevitable that when little kids wear oversized shoes, someone takes a tumble hence the little girl on her knee. Km
ReplyDeleteMaxima peut également créer un musée de la chaussure à elle seule et ce n est pas pour me déplaire.
ReplyDeleteJ adore les chaussures et les sacs 👜

I love this colour and especially the jacket on Maxima. The trousers are OK - the wide, flared trend once again - and Maxima's height is complementary to the wide style but I personally prefer the tapered look as per the model. But she looks great either way.

Questo completo le dona molto, ma l’accessorio più bello resta il suo sorriso e la sua disponibilità . Bella la foto con la bimba che piange.

Colorful outfit, too bad she can get her hair fixed nicely for the royals she meets, yet for everyday folks, she leaves it a mess. Quite sad, though she has a nice smile.
ReplyDeleteLovely trouser suit in a great colour. I would have preferred a contrasting colour for the blouse but it's still a really nice outfit for Queen Maxima
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely queen, suit fits well, colour okay. Her hair just needs to have the ends trimmed which would give a fuller look. Love that she takes the crying child by the hand and has her sit on her knee.. Truly a very down to earth mom moment.

DeleteEven if her hair is trimmed regularly - which I think she does otherwise she should had very long hair - it will always stay thin. It is not the trimming that makes it fuller.
I love Queen Maxima's monochromatic wine red suit and shirt. The shoes, the bag, the earrings all in the same shade of red. Picture 8 & 9 are so warm.
ReplyDeleteHer hair is awful (was hoping Letizia might have hair influence on her....but no) and her trousers are too wide. They make her look bigger than she is.
ReplyDeleteShe is not big, she can wear dresses that she already had when she was still a princess.

DeleteThis comment is useless, you cannot compare the hair of Queen Letizia which is thick, with the hair of Queen Maxima which is thin and damaged by to much bleaching.
