On April 18, ahead of the Sainte Devote Rugby Tournament, 96 children participated in aquatic rescue activities at the swimming pool of the Stade Louis-II, in the presence of Princess Charlene of Monaco. These workshops allow young children of the village to learn first aid gestures and are a way to acquire the basics of rescue in a fun way.
These activities were created by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and supervised by the team of the Académie Monégasque de la Mer, led by Pierre Frolla, with the support of the Monegasque Red Cross.
The children from eight U-12 teams (South Africa, Ivory Coast, Greece, Mauritius, India, Ecuador, United States, Georgia) who arrived before the start of the rugby tournament , took part in various drowning prevention and first aid workshops organized by the foundation.
My opinion is that Charlene is at her very best (or at least, most photogenic because that is nearly all we see and know her by) when she’s just her sporty self, out of princess clothes, out of the need for perfection, and without shoes. I hope she can make this a greater part of her life over time. (Grace)
ReplyDeleteWell written Grace.

What comes through in these photos,is Charlene’s passion.Aquatic programmes is her area of expertise. So to be able to incorporate it in a fun way with the children, teaching them not to fear the water,is just splendid!
ReplyDeleteShe herself looks beautiful.
Lowri.
Lovely ❤️
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlene looks always happy when she is surrounded by children and doing something with them related to sports.
ReplyDeleteSomeone asked last time 'what do Monaco Royals do to help people' This is Charlene's passion and a wonderful way to help young kids and add value to the world.
ReplyDeleteCharlène est vraiment très heureuse, vêtue décontractée en rouge et blanc parmi tous ces enfants !
ReplyDeleteJust being an “ ordinary girl” suits her best!
ReplyDeleteShe looks at ease and happy.
I think she has a beautiful spirit!!! Lovely that she gets a chance to inspire young people!
ReplyDeleteThe Nike jacket looks quite lovely on Princess Charlene. You can see that she is in her element by how engaging she is when her charity involves children and sports. Although I admire many Royal women and men she and Queen Mary are my two favorites!
ReplyDeleteInteresting, they both come from British Commonwealth countries with a down to earth lifestyle and where the word “bling-bling” is almost unknown.
DeleteSorry, somebody just pointed out to me that "bling-bling" is the noise made by a bell on a bicycle in Australia. 😁
DeletePss Charlene is in her element. She looks so at ease and happy. Keep up the good work. css
ReplyDeleteWonderful cause! HSH looks beautiful in the red coat and I think her hair is just perfection.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so happy, doing what she loves: kids and swimming. Beautiful princess.
ReplyDeleteI liked her too but when I read how much money she overspends daily, I was deeply disturbed
ReplyDeleteYou'll be even more "deeply disturbed" if you continue to read the tabloids, otherwise known as the gutter press.
DeleteVous seriez également perturbé si vous connaissiez le budget de la Reine Maxima, de Maria Thérèsa, Catherine, etc.
