Danish Princess Benedikte presented the 2024 Helene Elsass Prize to para-cycling athlete Emma Lund in the award ceremony that took place at the headquarters of The Alsace Foundation in Charlottenlund. The Helene Elsass Prize is annually awarded to a person who has made a special effort for people with cerebral palsy.
Emma Lund was deemed worthy of the award because of being a role model for others who have cerebral palsy. Emma is currently training for the Paralympic Games to be held in Paris.
The Elsass Foundation, of which Princess Benedikte is Patron, is a private, commercial foundation that works to increase the quality of life for people with cerebral palsy and their relatives. The Helene Elsass Prize was first given in 2018 with the aim of honoring individuals, organizations or institutions that have made a special effort for people with cerebral palsy.
J'aime beaucoup la princesse Benedikte vêtue avec goût après avoir combiné les couleurs jusque dans les bijoux !
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Danish royal! Always gracious and elegant.
ReplyDeleteI think Benedikte is the most elegant royal lady of her generation. Clothes, hair and make-up are close to perfection, always.
ReplyDeleteI compare her to our wonderful Duchess of Gloucester. Both are admirable in their support of the monarch. LRB
DeleteThe lady who is showing the award she received is dressed beautifully. I like the brown of her dress combined with the creamy blazer.
ReplyDeleteAnd the lady on the left of Princess Benedite looks smart with her flowery blouse and navy trousers.
DeleteOh and let's not forget the gentleman. He looks quite dapper 😀
Princess Benedikte looks beautiful here--blue is certainly her color! As always she looks so elegant--its wonderful to see her.

Always good to see Princess Benedikte. As classy as ever but I think I would have preferred a matching skirt ( or the jacket less fastened if it’s a dress). Minor quibble as she always looks good.

Always classy, never overboard with dress or jewelry. css.
ReplyDeleteUsually dressed well, but not on this outing, the jacket is too tight across the chest area, (last photo). Not fond of the print of the dress, other wise Benedikte
ReplyDeleteis lovely as ever.
