On April 16, King Felipe and Queen Letizia departed from Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport to travel to the Netherlands. In the afternoon, King Felipe and Queen Letizia arrived in Amsterdam, and met with the Spanish community residing in the Netherlandsat the NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace Hotel. On April 17, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima will officially welcome the King and Queen in Dam Square.
Q. Letitia’s hair, makeup and earrings are all excellent and complement the top beautifully. I like the skirt, but it seems too narrow at the bottom. Perhaps that’s just the angle of the photos. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteAgree, splendid.
DeleteA somewhat understated outfit in my opinion but I guess it's not a formal event. Look forward to seeing both Royal couples together.
ReplyDeleteIt is what it says in the introduction, a meeting in Amsterdam with the Spanish community residing in The Netherlands.
DeleteI love the evening outfit on Letizia. The black top is simple but striking, and the pale gold satin skirt provides just the right amount of understated glam for a semi-formal evening event.
ReplyDeleteWe're being spoilt by a slew of State visits these days. Looking forward to what this one will bring on April 17th for Letizia and Maxima, both during the day and especially in the evening.

The texture and fluidity of the skirt is lost in these photos.
ReplyDeleteClean lines. Beautiful hair and makeup. Well done!

I was just thinking the same thing, that the skirt probably looks much better irl. Great top.
DeleteToujours aussi chic.

Not a fan of the skirt, but everything else is 10 out of 10 from me. I must say this hairstyle is really flattering on her, and is by far my favourite one she has sported. As someone who doesn't wear high heals, I'm loving this kitten heals stage in her life.

Me too re shoes! For too long the heels of the European princesses / young queens have been so very high that I experience vertigo just seeing the pictures! Contrary to what fashion may at times try to tell us, I do not find high heels attractive - and very high heels even less so - and I’m hoping Letizia’s delightful lower shoes will step fashion forward and lower! (… and therafter to wider foot-shaped shoes that allow feet all the space they need…) (Grace who loves hiking boots best)
DeleteOnly some silly fashion sites portray high heels as the most elegant option. As they invariably do impact your bone alignment, it’s important to acknowledge that many types of shoes can be at least as classy and without ruining your health. Sadly for Letizia, she realized that late.

Très élégant haut noir mais je suis moins fan de la ceinture trop large qui coupe la silhouette ; les cheveux raccourcis joliment lissés permettent de mieux voir les boucles d'oreilles !
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is a no for me. Beautiful earrings.
ReplyDeleteVery nice look!
ReplyDeleteThe suit is OK, the other outfit not very flattering on here.
