The municipality of Skien in Norway hosts the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championships B-Pool. On April 16, 2024, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway was in Skien in order to watch the match played between Norway and Great Britain as part of World Para Ice Hockey Championships held at Skien Fritidspark and to support the Norwegian national team. Norway won the match by 18-0.

MM, nice to see more of her the last month or so. She sticks to sensible winter appropriate clothing for the climate she lives in. While the puffy jacket is not my style, her smile and warmth light the area where she is meeting/greeting people.
