As part of her role as Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Army Dental Corps, The Duchess of Gloucester visited King’s College Hospital to meet staff and patients connected with the Trust’s Dental Institute. The Dental Institute at King’s College Hospital also provides teaching and training for both undergraduate and postgraduates trainees from King’s College London.
The Duchess met with staff and patients, before unveiling a plaque to mark the centenary of the Dental Institute and School, which opened in 1923, and formally marked its 100th year in 2023. The Duchess toured the Rainbow Suite, which provides a dental trauma service to children as well as dental and facial trauma treatment to adults.
The Duchess looks wonderful here! What a beautiful blue coat--and the color is perfect for the Duchess. She such a lovely lady and looks so elegant today.

Very pretty color on the Duchess. She looks immaculate, as always.

Lovely blue coat on the Duchess…always nice to see her.
ReplyDeleteThis blue coat looks great
ReplyDeleteThe colour is beautiful
So lovely to see her out and about
I lover her hair styled in this way.
Normally we’d be screaming “bathrobe vibes”
DeleteBut the Duchess gives the coat a touch of style.
NOTE: In two years the Duchess will be joining the “royal 80 year old club”😀
Would love to know what moisturiser she uses on her skin. 🤪
Oh, dear @ Deadeggs,
Deleteyou should know by now that the only possibile answer when seeing a good skin texture on a woman is cosmetic/ plastic surgery, irrispective of her age and status😉
I have learnt a lot on this topic reading professional and qualified " opinions" available on this blog ( and
they all are free of charge!)👍😉
@deadeggs, I think the fit, solid color, fabric, and overall styling keep this coat from giving off “bathrobe” vibes to me.

I agree with "Royal watcher". The coat fits extraordinary well. Some royal ladies who are buying their clothes too wide create sometimes bath robe vibes .
DeleteHer hairstyle is lovely for HER, however not suitable for some other royal ladies as I have already read, since now out-of-date.
ReplyDeleteHer hairstyle is not out of date. I have the same age as the Duchess and during spring and summer I have my hair at about the same length as she has. For the moment my hair is a bit longer (still the length I have during winter) and I have also colored hair, copying as much as possible my former natural hair color : a mixture of chestnut & red copper. I cannot imagine women of 75-76-77 with long (gray) hair and a separation in the middle like young women. Princess Charlene is still a young woman and she has her hair short too. She already had different short hairstyles. I think when a woman is older she has to choose a hairstyle that suits her face. Trying to copy younger women just make you look old. The Duchess of Gloucester looks 1000 times better than Princess Anne with her awful hairstyle.
DeleteAnon 16.23 : I’m sorry but what nonsense your comment is. Why should older women choose a short haircut. Nothing to do with that. It’s so individual and depending on the condition of your hair maybe or the form or your face, but not with age.

DeleteI cannot imagine a woman in her seventies with long gray hair but styled like Queen Mary or CP Elisabeth. She would look like a witch. Do you know a royal lady or a famous woman with long gray hair like this ? I cannot find one.
Cette Duchesse a beaucoup de classe

Lovely soft blue coloured coat and matching blouse. The Duchess looks great and I like her soft coloured glasses. Very elegant as always.
ReplyDeleteLa duchesse a de l'allure dans ce manteau ceinturé sur une robe ou un haut de la même couleur bleue ; belle touche discrète que ses boucles d'oreilles saphir et petits diamants ?!
ReplyDelete@P.the original. What a dreadful comment, insulting to say the least. I would say good skin = good care/diet/excercise, vanity= plastic surgery.
ReplyDeleteThe D of G has a quiet elegance about her, love the colour of her coat.
@Azalea, you got it all wrong.
DeleteYou may want to consider elaborating my words before rushing to reply?
I was being ironical and I'm sure @ Deadeggs got it.
The Duchess of Gloucester is fabulous, of course.
Try again and please, no naivete on your part next time, right?
Bye.
I agree with Azalea.
DeleteWhat elegant, the soft colors look terrific on her! Ac
ReplyDeleteA class act!
ReplyDelete@P.the original - if that is your idea or irony, it is poor indeed as is your sarcasm!
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteThis dress and coat combo looks lovely. Light blue is a good color for the Dss. css
