On, Sunday, March 31, 2024, King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburg, James, Earl of Wessex, Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson attended the Easter Matins Service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor. The Prince and Princess of Wales did not attend, as Catherine continues her cancer treatment.
Prada purple coat
Beautiful purple Prada coat . Great to see CoE in a knee length coat after all the long dresses she has worn. I admire her for being able to still wear a 10 year old fitted coat. I like the Queens hat but not the cape.

DeleteFergie seems to think that squeezing herself into clothes that are 1-2 sizes too small will make her look thin, but it makes her look overweight. Does she not care that we can see her bra line & all her bumps. I cannot imagine going out in public like that, never mind that it must be uncomfortable.
DeleteSarah looks ridiculous in an outfit that is clearly too small for her and has the opposite effect of what she probably hoped for. She did the same at Constantine’s memorial service. And many times before. I have no problem with her shape—she has lovely legs—but please wear something that fits.

You need to look in your own mirror and stop personal sniping at those who disagree with you. Sarah’s smiles make up for nothing in my view, which is as legitimate as yours. Saying she needs to wear clothes that fit is a tame and accurate statement.

DeleteThe best dressed is duchess Sophie. The purple coat looks very lovely and the color suits her. Unfortunately her beret and shoes are a bit too pale as well as her tights. A darker beige would have been better. Her hair looks good when it is loose like that.
ReplyDeleteQueen Camilla's hat is so much better today. Unfortunately the short cape makes her look boxy. A longer cape and no big shoulder pads is what she needs. King Charles face looks a bit grey/pale which is normal with the treatment he gets.
Princess Anne's coat is too tight, the boots don't match this light green coat and dress or skirt. Her hat is too little, she has better ones.
Prince Andrew is present (and seems to be forgiven by the family) together with Sarah Ferguson.
The green suits Camilla very well. I only dislike the ugly zip at the back of the short cape !!

Sophie looks great here - I really like the fit, color, and length of her coat, and it looks nice with the light-colored shoes and hat. I’m not always a fan of the beret-style hat; however, overall she looks very nice and her hair looks lovely. Camilla’s outfit looks good on her, but I would have chosen brighter colors for Easter than black and dark green.

Love the modern outfit on Sophie! She looks great in that beautiful purple knee-length coat and I also prefer a more sleek hat like this over other fuzzy ones in her closet.

I’m disappointed to see Andrew front and centre again! I get it’s a family affair,but couldn’t he for the optics alone,gone in via a side entrance! Plus,why did Edward and Sophie have to wait to enter the church behind Fergie? Surely they take precedence?
It doesn't matter who is entering a church first and who comes next. Even if Andrew is going into the church via another entrance, everybody knows by now that he is still part of the family and everything seems to be forgiven. We are not living in the 19th century anymore. Time of the "ancien régime" is over since a long time. A pity Prince Harry will never been accepted anymore by his family.

Queen Camilla’s coat is nice and her hat is the best by far imo. The weird short cape is, presumably, for warmth but why not get a longer one. It can go in the bonfire with the perma present black boots. Pleased to see the Duchess of York with the family again and her outfit is another springlike green but, as is often the case for her, too tight..

The Purple Prada coat looks fabulous. Beautiful color, fit and design. Not so sure about the color of her hat or accessories. The Queen looks lovely, though not so sure about the black capelet in this instance. The emerald, sapphire and diamond brooch is lovely, but a bit on the small size to have a impact.

I think everyone pretty much skirted around the Queen's black choices out of respect for her going forward and her support for the King. Saying that can you imagine dear Princess Charlene if she was photographed wearing black on Easter!

DeleteOnly Anne Princess Royal can wear tasseled boots in a camel colour, and pair them with gloves in a brandy colour and a handbag in a brown-ish colour and get totally away with it. Love her to bits. I also love that Sarah, DoY, has been included in the most recent family gatherings. Although her fashion choices are often a bit on the questionable side still almost 40 years on - she really sticks to her guns. Good to see KC III in rather high spirits.
