On February 29, 2024, Queen Camilla received the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska at Clarence House in London. As part of her visit to the UK made to attend the Global Soft Power Summit, Olena Zelenska met with Queen Camilla. The Ukrainian President's wife Olena Zelenska thanked Queen Camilla and King Charles for their consistent support to Ukraine and for sheltering 200 thousand Ukrainian migrants in the UK.
Hats off to Camilla. She is very supportive to Charles and the absence of Catherine puts more strain on the Royal Household. But she does so good. Well done. You have earned your respect.
ReplyDeleteWell said, Anon 07:14. Couldn't agree more!
DeleteShe is indeed, very supportive partner, a strong woman!
DeleteI so agree! The family must be under lots of strain. Many families are but they are not in the limelight like that. So admire Mrs Z too, what a life. Let there be peace. Everywhere. Ac
DeleteIndeed, working hard to replace Charles and very professional and kind
DeleteNot to replace Charles but to support and represent him and the Royal Family. She obviously does a very good job. The first lady of Ukraine is very stylish and chic.
DeleteFinally Queen Camilla replaced her boots by a pair of black pumps. So much more elegant.

DeleteLe fait de porter des chaussures à gros talons noirs est vraiment élégant et surtout plus confortable que des escarpins ; avec des collants fins noirs, cela aurait été parfait !
So nice to see the change in footwear.
DeleteBut I recall what a blogger said last year ...... “those boots aren’t going to give up without a good fight.” 😁
Achard62. Quand on regarde les photos N°3 et N° 4, j'ai l'impression que ses talons ne sont pas très gros. J'espère que la reine Camilla continue à porter des talons commes ceux-ci quand elle a des visites à l'interieur d'un palais ou château.
DeleteCamilla works very hard!
ReplyDeleteNo need to repeat that each time. We are talking here in the first place about fashion.
DeleteQueen Camilla looks so good here--I really like this dress. She is an excellent representative for her country and her husband. Mrs. Zelenska looks quite chic in her trouser suit.

I have been looking at the interior of Clarence house. It is almost a museum. It must be very difficult to live in these rooms or perhaps they are only used to receive people and to organize receptions and serving tea ? The first picture is showing a kind of hallway. It is plenty with furniture against the walls. One can see people who are coming from the rooms to look into the hallway. These are probably staff members who are working in these rooms.
ReplyDeleteThe walls are covered with paintings and the floors with carpets. I would feel suffocated in there.
I love it. I have paintings and carpets in my hallway--just not of the same value!! :-)
DeleteHard working Q Camilla. Blue must be her favorite color. Mrs Zelensky stepped out of Vogue? css
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe first lady, looks immaculately groomed, love the ensemble. Very elegant and stylish.
In every Royal house there are State Rooms in which you receive State dignitaries etc and their are Private Rooms;that Camilla can have in her style,so I don't think they live in a museum;sometimes you see they have clutter just like the rest of us.Camilla looks good. Now you will find Ukranian women tradittionally spend money on their appearance;Olena looks fine (Tara)
ReplyDeleteThe First Lady of Ukraine's attire is absolutely perfect. And I like the shoes Camilla is wearing. However, a natural or suntanned tight would have shown off the shoes better. She must have a reason for constantly wearing thick black tights or boots. To me, her legs look fine.
