I agree! Classic but beautiful tailoring. I mostly love her confidence!

I think she looks lovely in the white outfit…very poised and happy. What an interesting ensemble for the ceremony. It must be a time honoured style. It’s wonderful to have these glimpses into Japanese culture and traditions. (V.M.)

  3. Qu'elle soit vêtue de blanc ou d'une tenue plus officielle grise, la princesse Aiko est vraiment superbe !

I'm just so happy seeing her come into her own charge, and doing so with such confidence. You go, girl!

(Before anyone gets all excited and freaked out about the second last photo, and any photo manipulation where it looks like she has three hands, that is simply the hand of the man walking behind her, lol)

    1. Dear Anon 9:13. Thanks a million.
You know, I'd already started to freak out and get myself excited about those three hands. You helped avoid an international scandal.
Keep up your good work 😁

LOL!!! I hadn't even noticed until you mentioned it.
Maybe it's actually an AI generated photo that gave her a third had. ;D

Her jacket for the shrine ceremony reminds me a lot of the Empress Emerita Michiko's signature style of capes and brooches! I think it's the best outfit we've seen so far.

The gray dress and cape is so elegant and again it has those buttons on the sleeves. The white outfit is also very nice in a typical Imperial Palace style.

  8. Goodness, she has really come a long way, so confident and charming, brilliant! The grey gown is so elegant, beautifully tailored. The brooch placement is perfect. I love her use of single pearl necklaces, in the first outfit. Beautiful.

The traditional dress is lovely. The "regular" modern outfit is horrible. I don't care that it's her "work uniform," it's still horrible. I think she is actually borrowing/wearing her mother's clothes instead of the "powers-that-be" providing her with own clothes.
