On March 13, 2024, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain received a delegation from the Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities (CERMI) on the occasion of the recent reform made on the article 49 of the Spanish Constitution, which is dedicated to people with disabilities. The event took place at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid.
CERMI works to protect human rights of people with disabilities, both individually and as a whole. It establishes contacts with public authorities, stakeholders and society to raise awareness about the needs and claims of this social group, which involves more than 3.8 million people in Spain.

What the SHOES!! perhaps her teen daughters told her she looks cool in them.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she has some problems with her feet? I have noticed that she has changed the style of her shoes lately!?
DeleteAnyway her hair suits her very well🥰
I read Letizia has painful foot problems, so I think that’s why she has been wearing different style shoes with lower heels lately. That being said, these shoes are not terribly attractive.

This type of shoes are popular with teenagers but someone of her age and class, kitten heels, flats or block heels like Queen Silvia's would be more flattering
DeleteMissy, I had to do a double take on the shoes too!! I have been loving the shorter healed shoes she has been wearing of late - much kinder to the feet and ankles. But this one is a no from me.
DeleteT
Love the shoes - they perfect the foot and trouser silhouette.
DeleteLove the shoes too but not so much the shorter hair. Luckily it will grow soon, I guess.

Noir et vert foncé bien associés ; ses cheveux raccourcis sont revenus à un joli lissage !
ReplyDeleteI'm liking her new shorter hair.

There is nothing wrong with these trousers and sweater but it's quite boring as well. The overall silhouet of these clothes are not very favourable for Letizia. She looks imv so tiny and vulnerable
DeleteAngie, the Spanish lion is back... Once again a reaction as if the Spanish queen is being terribly attacked and/or criticized. Anonymous13/3/24 15:31 only writes that in her opinion the queen seems small and vulnerable in this attire ... nothing more, nothing less
DeleteDear Angie, not sure why the anonymous is calling you a lion, people do write strange things! I think Letizia is beautifully classically dressed here. It’s strange to me that when a famous person wears something we might wear (albeit most of us with much cheaper brands) instead of high heels and very fancy clothes, she receives criticism; when actually she’s a person and wearing clothes, and very neatly too! I would love this outfit for my corporate wardrobe too. - AnneLise
DeleteAngie is proud of her queen, as should be!
DeleteShe could at least have worn a little jacket over her top. Now it looks like she didn't even bother to do an effort when receiving her handicapped guests.
ReplyDeleteThe shoes she is wearing now are looking a bit too heavy. First she replaced her high heels by kitten heels which were lower but they don't give a good support to the feet either. On March 8 for the concert in the evening she wore a sort of block heels which were higher again. Now she is wearing this pair of street style shoes which are probably better if they give her enough support. If you have severe foot problems best is to wear comfort shoes which are not ugly anymore like they used to be in the past. There are brands who are specialized in these shoes and produce only this kind of footwear. Pure leather inside and outside, removable soles on the inside where you can put a special sole made by a medical doctor that is specialized in foot therapy (orthopedist ?). These shoes are slightly broader than an ordinary shoe but much better for the feet. You can find the best brands which are producing these shoes in all sorts of colors and with heels in The Netherlands, Germany and Austria and they are exported to other countries too.
I am confused by something you have written. "If you have severe foot problems best is to wear comfort shoes which are not ugly anymore like they used to be in the past." What does "which are not ugly" mean? I am assuming you think her shoes are unattractive, but how does that make them worse for her feet? I happen to love her shoes and have some that are similar. I don't think she needs to wear a blazer, either. One thing I don't like is grabbing a random blazer to dress up an outfit when it is obvious they don't belong together. It usually ends up looking like the half-hearted effort that it is.
@ Angie
DeleteYou are exactly right.
Totally agreed, great👍👏👏
Je suis fan de cette reine , jamais dan le paraître

Ich weiß nicht was man an solchen klobigen Schuhen schön finden kann.
ReplyDeleteThis seems like a very casual outfit for any kind o semi formal occasion. Il like the trousers but she needs a more formal top. I know she has had foot problems but these shoes are hideous. If low heels/flats were necessary, there are many more elegant styles available.
ReplyDeleteLove her hair…very flattering!
ReplyDeleteQueen Letizias hair is back to a very nice length for her -IMHO- the shoes are fine with me, but a Blazer would have completed the outfit to it's better.
ReplyDeleteHer hair is perfect. - Louise
ReplyDeleteI like the pants, but the neckline on the sweater is not good on Letizias shorter neck.
ReplyDeleteMay GOD bless this wonderful QUEEN!!!
ReplyDeletePant and top are fine. What is it with the shoes? really? css
ReplyDeleteYou mean the loafers from Hugo Boss, very modern right!
DeleteQueen Letizia looks very modern and chic here, in a black long-sleeve fine knit sweater paired with tailored green trousers, which she complemented with a pair of loafers. All from Hugo Boss.
ReplyDeleteonly High-Heels are the right shoes for a queen! She should make an operation and than wear them again.
ReplyDeleteThe only shoes for a queen are High Heels! She should make a operation of her feet illnesses and than wear High Heels again.
