  1. Cette veste en tweed de couleur abricot est superbe ; si je devais la porter, ce serait peut-être avec une jupe droite pas comme sur le modèle !

The first couple of photos of Charlotte are not good photos of her, but even then, I think this very expensive Chanel jacket does nothing for her. Weirdly proportioned, retailing for around EUR8000!, I think it’s another case of The King’s New Clothes for Chanel. - AnneLise

Au premier abord, j'ai été très étonnée quand j'ai lu 8 000 €uros ; si c’’était 800 €uros, ce serait plus pour mon porte-monnaie mais je peux quand même rêver ?!

    4. Yes @AnneLise. But there must be people out there who can
pay money for Chanel's creations otherwise the mark would disappear from the industry.
Looks like I’ve missed something on the way to the circus.

  4. I love the style of the jacket but the color less so.
    The flared pants suit Charlotte.
Her hair looks a little untidy today.

I don't like the jacket, it's overdone, especially the decoration (a kind of flower?)

Very beautiful Chanel jacket. Unfortunately on Charlotte the fabric of the jacket, when buttoned up, is pulling. The model does not have it. I like the color, the fantasy pockets, the flower in the same fabric.... I think this is also a very petite size. It is possible that in bigger sizes the beauty will disappear completely. I do not like the skirt. Charlotte is looking good with the black flared jeans. I also like the Chanel handbag, not the classic bag we are used to, but a very original one.

Once again Charlotte proves that having the perfect dna and expensive designer clothes does not make you look stylish, chic or elegant.
She looks bored and tired and in desperate need of a haircut.
The jacket is more suitable for a granny than a young woman.

You could be surprised in France not only grannies are wearing Chanel jackets. In other countries either, but we are already happy to find a Chanel look-a-like that suits us for less money.

It is a bit the effortless chic some French women are exposing. When she was young Charlotte got away with it. Know that she is becoming slowly older, she should take more care of herself. But maybe that is just what the house of Chanel is looking for in her, a bit of bohemian, effortless chic. Because they are trying to reach another category of people. People with money yes, but also people who are not exposing the fact that they are (very) rich.

      You make a good point/s.
Bring back Coco to get the house back in order.
She was one of the greatest designers in the world pus she was a (very) smart business woman.

I know it's quite a 'fashion' thing to combine different elements, but I don't think the boxy lines of this jacket and the curved lines of the jeans really work very well together.

She's a beautiful woman and yet her hair often reminds me of how we had it as teenagers in the early 2000s - the long fringe over one eye, looking a bit unkempt. She seems to either do this or a very harsh, scraped-flat style, but there must be something softer but tidy between the two.

It is a nice jacket, but I think she is too long in the torso making the proportion off

I like the pants Charlotte is wearing. I do not care for the jacket on her. The color and overall style do not look flattering on her.

  15. The jacket looks as though it shrank in the wash, the jeans are so `70`s and should have stayed there. More money than sense comes to mind.

Okay, other than most people on here I actually like the Chanel tweed. It's classic, elegant and sweet for women of all ages.
However, it does not suit Charlotte. Charlotte only wears this stuff because she's brand ambassador. You can tell that if Charlotte wasn't brand ambassador for anyone and chose something for herself, she would not choose a peach-coloured tweed jacket with a flower on it. It doesn't fit her vibe. The flared jeans - yes!

If she wasn't in the family she's in, I don't think she'd be the Chanel brand ambassador.

  20. She is a natural beauty and doesn't need much makeup at all. She never looks elegant, stylish or well groomed. Her hair is always just a hanging mess. Her clothes are at times, giving the impression of just slapped on without much effort. I don't like this jacket. Designer label or not, I feel she needs a stylist to help her look better put together and well groomed.

Some people can look effortlessly chic when they just throw on some separates, Princess Caroline has that knack. Charlotte does not.

Love the jeans--they look great on Charlotte. Love the jacket but hate the color--its not a good color for Charlotte either. The pairing of the jacket and jeans is chic and a great look overall on Charlotte.

Me too. Zara has Chanel look-a-like jackets and Mango or Massimo Dutti too. It is sometimes difficult to find one that fits. A couple of years ago I had the change to find a jacket by "Terre bleu" with blue, off white and black fibers. Underneath I wear a white, navy or black T-shirt. With navy jeans and black sneakers with white soles and a navy cross body bag with golden chains by Guess, I received a lot of compliments when it was new.

Charlotte is giving off serious Grunge vibe looks and if I were Chanel I would expect more from her. Especially considering how much that jacket cost she is not representing them well! FITZHUGH

IMO, Princess Charlotte is presenting a look “cool, intello, unconventional chic”.
      Agree with FITZHUGH.
She's not doing Chanel any favours.
If Coco was back, she's probably give her her marching orders quick.

I do like the suit style and colour;so people get more wear out of a Chanel items they tend to wear the jacket or skirt with lots of other items.Well Charlotte is the brand ambassador;so she would get lots of clothes to wear for nothing;so you see the item and think I must have that .(Keeping up with the Jonses;that is what it is called) It all depends what you want to spend your money on.What could you buy for$8,000? a small car; 4 cows ,preg tested to have a calf;a diamond ring, designer shoes;it is all relative.Chanel
put a few more ooo's on the end people will buy it.The clothes may be all handmade;pieces never go out of style,so you can wear it for the next 30years.I think Charlotte has bed hair (Tara)

  28. Dear Tara.
I appreciate the ideas you give us for spending 8.000 Euros or Dollars.
But 8.000 Euros for 4 cows sounds a bit expensive to me.
But then they'd probably have Chanel logo branded on the side.
