Queen Maxima is making a three-day visit to Colombia in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development. On the 2nd day of her visit to Colombia, Queen Maxima visited the minister of Finance and Public Credit in Bogota. The Queen met with President Gustavo Petro, First Lady Veronica Alcocer and Vice President Francia Marquez. The Queen participated in a roundtable discussion on financial inclusion.
Wow good colour, Nice heels.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is a beautiful shade of green. Her choice of jewellery, wow! the brooch and earrings are stunning.
ReplyDeleteFrom head to toe - perfect
ReplyDeleteMaxima looks absolutely wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful suit, the colour, hair...everything. A tall, professional looking, city style businesswoman. Well done.

Love this whole outfit…top, skirt, earrings, brooch, accessories! Vibrant green is a fantastic color on the Queen and she radiates in the photos, as usual.
ReplyDeleteSomething should be done with her hair, but colour of the dress is just great! Zofia
ReplyDeleteAre you so accustomed to ridiculing Maxima's hair that you made the usual negative comment without even looking at it? She looks beautiful, head to toe.
Deleteha, ha, ha, ha. ha .... some people are on automatic pilot when they comment on QM's fashion (read hair) choices ... Come on!
DeleteLove the vivid colour of this green dress. Okay, it's on the short side but as the skirt has gathers at the waist, it still looks good imo. Like the earrings too
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress and earrings. I find the butterfly broach is a bit creepy.
ReplyDeleteI want to add a very personal comment on her super high heals. I am a tall woman used to towering above most colleagues (mainly men) at international meetings. I was never comfortable so I would pick 4 - 5 cm heals instead of 8 -9 on these occasions. It felt a bit discourteous to wear too high heels. Perhaps I was oversensitive.
If you try to avoid dressing in a way that will not offend every person you run across throughout the day, you might as well never leave the house. As an example, you find that charming butterfly pin "creepy". There are women who collect critter pins who would love it. She will never please everyone. I say, " Wear the shoes!"
DeleteCompletely agree!!
DeleteQueen Max has hit it out of the park this time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful dress I like the rich color. I must say today perfect from head to toe. Hope she keep it up. css
ReplyDeleteShe looks GREAT!! Love her hair and makeup and the DRESS is gorgeous!! Very well done!!
ReplyDeleteAgree with most of the comments. Queen Maxima is a "10"" today. I like her hair, neat and matches the professional occasion . The difference between her and CP Victoria is that Maxima will change her hair style often and not get into a boring rut. Her fashion style in the last 6 months has improved remarkably in my humble opinion. One word of advice: stay away from Natan.
ReplyDeleteSome people are biased .... Now Helen didn't refer to a designer in this post, it's automatically assumed it's not Natan ... well, this definitely's an outfit by the Belgium fashion house. It shouldn't be "when it's by Natan, it's not nice nor well done" ... just judge by the occasion!
DeleteI AGREE with you Anonymous 28/2 10:58. On "Modekoningin Maxima" I read that the green two pieces outfit is a design by Natan from 2013 and has been made longer for this visit. The "creepy" butterfly brooch could be a brooch offered by the president of Columbia and his wife, as Queen Maxima was offered 15 brooches in al kind of shapes : butterflies, birds, flowers.... I love her whole outfit from top to bottom.
DeleteEverything beautiful! Looks wonderful on Maxima!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour and dress, and apropos her hair.
ReplyDeleteElegant, hard working lady and I love her smile 🥰
ReplyDeleteUn look parfait mais à mon avis, la magnifique broche papillon me semble de trop ; les boucles d'oreilles auraient juste suffi !
ReplyDeleteCela m'étonne de votre part Achard62.
DeleteQueen Maxima is also wearing earrings with emeralds coming from Colombia.
ReplyDeleteUntil now there has always been something in her outfit that refers to Colombia. Her handbag she was wearing upon arrival has been made by a ethnic group of people in Colombia. As Colombia is famous for his emeralds, QM refers to it by wearing an outfit in emerald green color.
I'm not a big fan of Natan, but this is a good look on M. Great vibrant colour.
ReplyDeleteIn addition to being perfectly dressed and coiffed, I think Queen Max was diplomatic by standing on a lower step while shaking the hand of Sr. Gonzalez.
ReplyDeleteOn the last picture one can see the difference in fashion style between Queen Maxima and the lady in navy blue maxi dress, who is the vice president, I suppose. My preference goes to the 2 pieces outfit of the queen because the shirt is shorter. Honestly these long maxi skirts and/or voluminous dresses are not very feminine or sexy. A beautiful woman can show her legs. I hope we will see more and more shorter skirts in the future.
ReplyDeleteThe other lady is the President's wife
DeleteWonderful! Now, I'm not 100% on board with the cut and the length, but that colour is STUNNING. And Maxima styled it so well, even the creepy-crawly brooch (though a butterfly isn't half as bad as her other bugs) looks lovely on the green backdrop. Great hair, too!
ReplyDelete-Nika-
Dress is too shiny, wrinkles easily, a bit too short. Nice earrings.
ReplyDeleteYes, silk is shiny and it wrinkles easily (especially when it is warm and you come out of a car), polyester doesn't.
DeleteHair neat, colour of outfit beautiful but dated, too short, buttons pulling on the top, butterfly brooch gorgeous and probably chosen for its symbolism. Considering how conservative the other ladies at the conference table are dressed I assume she is going to another function, otherwise overdressed to go a meeting (IMO). Love the blue outfit worn by the vice president, very fashion forward.
ReplyDeleteHair pulled back, nice smile. Satiny type material, a no from me, wrinkles way too easy. Seems a little too overdressed for this occasion. Suza
