Crown Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan received the Royal Charter for the Establishment of Gelephu Mindfulness City Special Administrative Region from the sacred Machen Lhakhang in Punakha Dzong. Queen Jetsun Pema, the Prime Minister, ministers, and senior government officials attended the ceremony.
Since the Gelephu Mindfulness City is established for the future of Bhutan, about 400 children from the region were invited to participate in the ceremony. The Royal Charter is a significant milestone in the establishment of the Special Administrative Region which will be known as Gelephu Mindfulness City, as announced by King of Bhutan on National Day.

Quelles merveilleuses photos où j'admire toujours les couleurs ; la reine est superbe et son fils, le prince héritier est très conscencieux au cours de cette cérémonie !
ReplyDeleteSo sweet to see the young Crown Prince participating in an age appropriate ceremony and leadership role with other children who he will one day lead. And nice to see that he attended with mum alone instead of both parents.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, I'm bowled over by the beautiful bright colours. One can't help but feel happy when looking at these photos.

I think I saw the King in the second picture, all the way to the left. I may be wrong.
Delete... this man is not the king ... on instagram you find a video of the ceremony and you can easily look at every step of it, there you will clearly see this man is not king Jigme Singye Wangchuck ... https://www.instagram.com/queenjetsunpema/reel/C3LFHZlhK24/
DeleteAll the vibrant colours, the ceremony... Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteTo watch this little Prince participating in such a Solom ceremony is just wonderful. The color of the national dress is vibrant and beautiful. css
ReplyDeleteWhat stunning, vibrant, colorful ensembles, love it!
ReplyDeleteTheir graceful, colourful and traditional garbs (clothes) are a treat for the eyes.
DeleteBhutan is often titled as being the happiest country in the world.
It is known as The Switzerland of Asia.
A “must” on my travel agenda.
It's like a color test for your printer. :) Such vibrant, happy colors. You think your printer might be acting up? Just print some images from Bhutan and you'll know asap which color cartridge is empty. :)
Delete@Anon 17:54 What a good and practical advice.
DeleteYou know, on Newmyroyals we get (and give ) such varied information and advice; not just only on fashion.
I’m sure Helen must be proud of her bunch of learned bloggers who now know how to sort out the colours on a prining machine 😊 .
