On February 15, Queen Camilla hosted a reception at Clarence House. The reception was held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the charity "The Poppy Factory". Employees, long-standing friends and partners of The Poppy Factory, and also veterans and their family members who receive help from the organization and find civilian employment were present at the reception. This year, the charity celebrates the centenary of its establishment.
The Poppy Factory is located in Richmond alongside the River Thames in South West London. It was founded between the World Wars and focuses on identifying employment for veterans and raising funds for families affected by war.
Je me suis empressée de faire défiler les photos afin de voir si elle portait des chaussures à l'intérieur de Clarence House à l'occasion de cette réception ; j'aurais dû parier et j'aurais gagné en voyant ses bottes !!
ReplyDeleteThey are obviously something she enjoys and they do suit many different winter outfits. I’m only too glad to see the royals reusing items and wearing what they feel comfortable in. On another note, I always enjoy how YOU put together your words, always with thought and kindness! - AnneLise
DeleteHer vitality seems to grow with every appointment.
ReplyDeleteWell done, and looking quite good in this dress!
She is such an asset to the RF. It is nice to see how calm and relaxed she attends these appointments. Hope her physical strenghts will last for a long time to come. I knew she would make a great queen. Her dress is a good choice for the occasion. Not too much and not too less. Well done, Frieda
ReplyDeleteIndeed! Total agreement Frieda. - AnneLise
DeleteShe is the RF. She is the wife of the King.
DeleteMarvelous event and QC looks wonderful! Gracious lady whose charm and warmth is always evident.

This blue dress looks appropriate for the occasion. A wonderful event.
ReplyDeleteGreat charity. QCamilla is wearing one of my favourites of that style of dress in her wardrobe. Her latest hair colour update is very soft and flattering.
ReplyDeleteElegant again. Nice event too. css
