On February 5, 2024, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg met with artist Pitt Brandenburger in Perl. Pitt Brandenburger was deemed worthy of "Jury Award" at the 4th biennial, "De Mains De Maitres". Pitt Brandenburger was born in 1961 in Esch/Alzette.
Hereditary Princess Stephanie is Honorary President of the association De Mains De Maîtres Luxembourg (Hands of Masters), which is a non-profit organization aiming to support and promote craftsmanship in Luxembourg.
Her outfits are like a granny now days. years ago she used to wear proper glam dresses
ReplyDeleteWhy would she need to wear a "proper glam [dress]" in an art studio?
Delete23:14 👏👏👏
DeleteImo, when a visit to an art studio -- or a factory, or a museum, or just about anywhere -- is an official engagement, it is absolutely reasonable to expect that a representative of a royal or (in this case) Grand Ducal family will show up looking polished and more formal than they would expect to look when not "on duty". I think that is what Anonymous at 19:46 meant by "proper glam dresses", and I agree with her. -- Jane
DeleteI agree @ Jane Chantal.
DeleteDoesn't have to be much but an effort could be made.
p.s. Men without a beard get a "yummy" vote from me, e.g. Prince Daniel of Sweden.
Nice green blouse. I wish Guillaume would grow a beard again, he looks so much better with it. W/o he looks like a 17-year-old. OMO css
ReplyDeleteA 17-year-old ? To me he looks (well/more than) his age.
DeleteI prefer him without the beard because it makes him look younger.
DeleteActually I think that Fred, Felipe and Willem would also look younger without their beards.
I prefer him WITHOUT a beard, but preferably a bit slimer. He doesn't have the excuse of two pregnancies.
DeleteThe look is too mumsy, aging and casual IMO. And the outfit doesn't flatter her. She should prefer a more professional and structured outfit with a jackett and trousers. And she needs a stylist to help her choosing a proper outfit.
ReplyDeleteHops she didn't pay lots of money for that top, it's pretty ordinary & unflattering.
ReplyDeleteLovely green colour for p Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteCette couleur verte lui va à merveille mais je ne peux dire que ce style de blouse soit à son avantage !
ReplyDeleteThe beautiful hairdo is already gone. She looks better with her hair separated in the middle. She has curls again which is good, but she looks much better with straight hair like the other day when she visited a home for elder people.
ReplyDeleteGive this dignified lady a rest. Two births in a row after the long struggle to get pregnant. I know from many women who are nursing or have stopped nursing that it is very difficult to regain one’s former figure and high fashion is probably not her priority at this stage. Appreciate her happiness and dedication instead. She has so much more to offer than sartorial perfection.

@ Virginia. Common women that have to return to work when their maternity leaf is over cannot let themselves go. If you have to be present at the place where you work, the least that is expected is that you dress like you did before you had a baby. She is sometimes dressed very well, a pity she does not seem to have the courage to dress up a bit every time she has to go out. Her husband too, the people he is visiting are sometimes better dressed than he is.
DeleteThe blouse/tunic is fine. Mathematically, she may still be nursing her youngest. She has the right to privacy regarding her medical history, so I wasn't going to mention that, but, let's give her the benefit of the doubt. Christine
ReplyDeleteImo well-tailored trousers, worn with pumps, would have elevated this look wonderfully. As is, it unfortunately looks frumpy which is a shame -- Stephanie is such a beguilingly attractive young woman and has always had the potential to look utterly captivating. Agreed that a stylist is needed but apparently is not wanted. It is her choice, but I will always hate to see her miss out on looking amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of her blouse, but this outfit fall flat.
