Very nice dress that we have seen before and great paring with red shoes and clutch. I am not very fond of these long capes worn by both Queen Mathilde and Queen Maxima but in this case it works well.

    Lovely full outfit on Mathilde!
I love both the cape and the dress (fits her so well) and the colour combination of claret and grey is gorgeous.

  3. The Queen looks fabulous. The grey dress fits well and suits her perfectly. The burgundy cape looks splendid. I love the addition of her burgundy accessories. Lovely presentation.

  4. This must be about the best "cape" look of the many we've seen this winter. The burgundy red with the grey dress is superb

Beautiful as always but what has happened to her hair? She’s always so perfect and I don’t mind this either……but it doesn’t look like her. Actually I like it and also Maxima when they’re not too perfect! Ca

I like the contrast of the burgundy cape and accessories and the grey dress. I also like Queen Mathilde's hair, blown away from her face. As far as I know, there is only one or two pictures of her with her hair done like this. Annelies Verlinden, Belgian Minister of Interior Affairs (dressed in red) is so tall. I did not realize it until today that she is taller than Queen Mathilde who is tall herself.

    1. Agree with you dear Tulipe (Achard62) about the claret colour blending in with the colour of a Pinot Gris.
Makes a good assemblage and gives inspiration to designers in the fashion world ......non?
      A votre santé.

The King and Queen look handsome. Beautiful color combo of gray and wine colored accessories. Hair is nice, but she is falling for 'helmet' hair too often. Suza
