A fire in the Spanish city of Valencia has killed at least 10 people on Friday. On February 26, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the scene, promised support for those affected, and expressed gratitude to firefighters and military personnel who worked to extinguish the fire.
The fire left many refugees from Ukraine without homes. It was not immediately known how many people were in the two buildings when the fire broke out, but the complex has about 140 apartments. The Queen wore a belted pinstripe blazer by Boss.

Another smart but sombre outfit. Has Queen Letizia been chatting with Princess Charlene? 😂 Like the block heeled shoes

It's a sombre occasion. No reason to laugh.
DeleteDid you even bother to read where they are and why they went before making a stupid joke and adding a dumb emoji? You have managed to insult two beautiful and stylish women for your definition of a laugh. They are paying their respects and offering comfort to victims of a tragedy, and thanking the men and women who came to their aid. Very bad form.
DeleteCharlene wears black by choice, Letizia wears it on sad/mourning occasions like these, the King is also wearing a black tie.
DeleteRight now I hear Forrest Gump...
DeleteVery appropriate outfits for the sombre occasion.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sad occasion. Both Q. Letitia and the King look so kind here as they talk with the survivors. Fashion-wise the pantsuit is not as sleek as some of her other suits but it’s still very flattering. I like the chunky loafers too! (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful choice and excellent choice for this somber occasion. I also love her loafers--great look and they look not only stylish but comfortable too. QLet looks marvelous here.

I don't like the chunky shoes. They make Letizia's feet look big and stand out too much. Most women don't want big feet.
ReplyDeleteThe outfit looks good and is very appropriate, but I dislike the chunky shoes.
ReplyDeleteThis is a sombre event and the chunky shoes are meant to be polite and comfortable and certainly not to please.

Spot on. Just right for this occasion. Like her shoes as well. css
