It looks cold yet cosy with all the winter clothing both are wearing. Queen Camilla looks elegant.

-Dorothe-

Dorothe! It’s just an umbrella for if it rains - how practical. Charles is known for making decisions to reuse and not waste and she’s probably influenced for the better by him. Why buy a new or fancy one when this one will do?! - AnneLise

Maybe if he had spent less money for the coronation, they could have bought new and better Winter clothes. The dress she wore on the coronation day is a piece she can only wear on very special occasions. A new warm Winter coat and a better hat (this one is terrible) she can wear every Winter. Her scarf doesn't match the brown tones of her outfit. At least King Charles is wearing a Winter coat that is looking nice.

-Laura-

I think Charles needs to rest a bit more;he looks a little tired. The good country air will help him.Camilla looks okay.We must remember they are 70 plus I know that is not old.Hoping he continues to improve. We don't see Kate;so I hope she is okay;she was fairly slim so hoping she is recuperating well.(Tara)

  8. La panoplie complète en cette période hivernale jusque dans le parapluie ; rien de tel que l'air de la campagne pour que Charles continue à se revigorer !

    We’ve seen Camilla’s hat before.
She should be careful when she goes for a walk in Sandringham park and the hunters are out and about. 😁

What an unkind comment deadeggs. I often think the same thing. Diana is missed so much by so many and for so many reasons. So sad, such a huge loss.

    3. Dear Virginia.
It would help if people used a nickname and not hide behind “Anonymous.”
The comment made by @Anon 11:45 reeks of a troll trying to disrupt the subject being discussed.
A comment about the Princess of Wales (Diana) has got nothing to do with a subject regarding The King and Camilla attending a church service.
It is the method/ behaviour of a “troll”.
The following is one explanation of a troll …….
Trolling is when someone posts or comments online to deliberately upset others. In short: Trolling is when someone deliberately tries to upset others online.

      Again, no nickname.
If my comments upset you, you have the right to ask the blog administrator (Helen) to remove them.
Although you don't use a nickname, you give yourself away by the way you say things and your spelling.
      Have a nice day.

    7. Dear Cora, you are right. Many more important things right now in royal circles.
So I’m going to relax, put the kettle on and take my pills.
You know it’s not always easy being a blogger on Newmyroyals.
Maybe we do a little too much at times to help the royal ladies.
But when we see the “WOW” votes after they have taken our advice, it all becomes worthwhile.
      Again thanks for your advice.

      Dear deadeggs,
I'm afraid I owe you an apology. I should think before I write. It was not you who upsets me it was someone else who I better not name. I'm really sorry. Please disregard my foolish and rude comment .

@ano 5/2/24 11:35 the British Tax payer gets a their Return on Investment 10 times over through Tourism, the Royal does not benefit from it, they have their own resources. #finacialeducation

Please explain better. I do not understand what you are trying to say.

I don't know who is paying for his clothes. I just find the contradiction very big : on the one hand spending lots of money to be able to organize a coronation like in the old days, on the other hand (@ AnneLise) "reuse and not waste". It is not 1 plastic umbrella that will make the difference. Not to speak about the CO2 when he uses a helicopter to fly from one castle to another mansion. And what is tourism has to do with it ?

I just read the statement issued today Feb 5th from Buckingham Palace of the Kings latest cancer medical diagnosis which is a new, separate issue to the BPH issue he was treated for last week. I applaud him for sharing this difficult news with the public in the hope of raising awareness, and I truly believe that early detection provides the best chances for a full recovery. I wish him the best in his treatments. That's now 3 members of the BRF who are unwell.

I'm not a fan, but I was sorry & shocked to hear about the King's illness. He was always so health conscious and fit. It's very scary how so many people (famous and not famous) are coming down with cancer lately. I really hope he does not suffer too badly. He hasn't looked well for some time. The British royal family has suffered quite a few blows recently. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the future. Nothing is certain anymore.
