Queen Mary of Denmark handed out the Ministry for Higher Education and Science's 2024 Elite Research Awards at The Black Diamond (the Royal Danish Library) in Copenhagen. The Ministry annually presents the Elite Research Awards to the leading researchers of the country with the aim of creating awareness about research in Denmark.
This year's recipients of the Elite Research Prize are the five researchers, namely, Amelia-Elena Rotaru, Irene Tamborra, Mads Albertsen, Peter Dalsgaard and Thomas Gammeltoft-Hansen. The EliteForsk awards were first given in 2007.
The Fold Abbeville Jacket and Alzira Trousers
Mary is such an elegant appearance and has such a wonderful smile. A perfect queen!
ReplyDeleteshe looks different here, her face looks fuller. like she had some cosmetic work done.
DeleteWork done to the face to this extent makes a person who promotes diversity and talks to women and girls about accepting themselves as they are and so on untrustworthy.
DeleteSave us from her shoes.
ReplyDeleteThey are an unusual choice for her outfit!
DeleteMary looks lovely in this suit, her first public (non-govt) event as Queen. The colour is beautiful and the cut is fine, though I personally prefer more fitted, sleeker suit fittings such as those from Alexander McQueen.
ReplyDeleteI'm in two minds about her shoes; the light snakeskin ones she has on are a bold and modern look with the suit, and provides some contrast. However a dark pair of blue suede stilettoes (or similar, which I'm sure she has) would give a more complete and formal look from head to toe.
Her hair colour seems more on the red side now.
Lovely to see Mary again.

Nice suit with tuxedo vibes. I like the shoes but not with this outfit.
ReplyDeleteBest dressed royal in the world!
ReplyDeleteQueen Mary looks great here. Jacket and trousers are suitably smart but the shoes are fab
ReplyDeleteElegant and professional suit for Queen Mary. The bright blue nails are not my preference but I guess I’m a bit behind the times in that area.
ReplyDeleteAgree!!!
DeleteYes you are. This shade of blue nail color is almost ten years fashion now. I have used it on my toe nails during summer when wearing sandals a long time ago.
DeleteFunky nails from the newly minted Queen Mary.
ReplyDeleteLove the suit, don’t think the grey snakeskin pumps compliment it.A navy pump would have been a better choice.
She’s really lightened her hair. The run of red through it looks lovely, and far better than the sharp dark color she used to have.
Nice to see Her Majesty The Queen Mary of Denmark out and about and looking as beautiful as ever 🧡🧡🧡
ReplyDeleteI love her hair this color, with a red undertone. I struggle with the botox effect; it will probably lessen with time. She is still beautiful and the playful fingernails show her willingness to go outside the box.
ReplyDeleteNice navy blue pantsuit. Nice contrast 'snake' pumps. Nice hair and make-up. Nicely formed nails, but blue nail polish, no. But overall, nice business attire. Amy
ReplyDeleteVery elegant. Hope we see more of her. css
ReplyDeleteI like her shoes, but not with this pantsuit. The pantsuit looks very professional and stylish, she looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love it! The shoes and nail colour are unexpected choices, but they work. Clearly Q. Mary is not afraid to show her personality, much like Q. Margarette before her. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteFresh, elegant, and modern take on a blue trouser suit with the python heels and blue nail polish. Queen Mary looks fabulous here. Glad to see her again--not throwing any negative comments but its been quite a while since she's been out in public. I know she has a lot to do and prepare for her upcoming state visits but I've missed her.

ReplyDeleteApperently much time over to doing the nails, this colour is just for one day I suppose! Lovely colour, but not on the nails!
ReplyDeleteMaybe there’s a bit of girl’s time together going on here and her two daughters gave mum a manicure.
DeleteShe’s not exonerated from being a mum even though she is now a Queen.
Dear @ Deadeggs,
Deletesorry for not being in agreement with you this time.
No, this Is professional manicure for sure.
You know, sometimes it gets more difficult to apply nail polish on short nails than on longer ones and Mary' s manicure Is perfectly executed.
As far as I can see, these are not false stick on nails.
The colour Is one of the most fashionable for this season not only for young girls and teenagers.
DeleteRossella
@Rossella, forse hai ragione.. veramente peccato.
DeleteIMO if there is anything stange about her face, it is due to the lighting and/or camera flashlights. Maybe she should be wearing a darker tone of makeup. Just my thoughts.
DeleteI like Mary’s shoes and the beautiful ring on her right hand. I do not care for the blue nail polish.
ReplyDelete-Royal Watcher
Great to see (now) Queen Mary again. Great suit and I love a contrasting shoe, but I’m not sure this one is the best option. Maybe a more purpleish or burgundy color would have been a better option. But I’m definitely looking forward to the Queen Mary fashion years to come!
ReplyDeleteWhat procedures is she getting done to her face. It is really very obvious now. No point of not telling.
ReplyDeleteI think so too. But she is looking good. I hope she will not exaggerate with all the permanent cosmetic treatments. Sometimes women regret when it is too late.
DeleteThe question is if that is being a role model for us mortals which we are told that the royals are.
DeleteShe looks okay but a bit plastic and shiny because of the cosmetic tweaking. Too bad women in the public eye sometimes feel the need to mess with their faces to look ‘younger’ when it usually has the effect of making them look cartoonish and distorted.
DeleteSorry, @ Anonymous 28/2/24 at 23:48, may I ask you to explain what you mean by " bad women in the public eye..."?
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the public eye point you mentioned is a moot matter of discussion.
All women have a right to take care of themselves.
Basically, women fall into two categories: the ones who don' t care a little bit about their physical shape , complexion ,diet plan and so on and keep trashing other women taking care of themselves instead.
The other group ( love them!) includes women who do not wait and see aging processes destroy their bodies and faces and try to find different ways to boost and keep their natural beauty throughout the years- genetics being a basic requirement in a woman 's overall physical aspect.
Cosmetic products and procedures are not enough , a woman needs to work on her body with daily exercise and a healthy nutrition regimen as well.
What one eats and drinks daily- I mean the quality and helpings of food and beverages- is what is seen outside in terms of skin glowing and hydration.
Of course, Extreme cosmetic surgery makeovers are the worst way to solve ageing processes related issues.
There are excellent non- surgical and non - invasive treatments to explore .
What really matters is to call on professional beauty consultants and safe procedures and products.
