On February 28, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the Red Cross' Finse Course 2024 on the mountains in Finse. The Finse Course, which is about rescue management, is one of the most important courses for the training of action leaders working in search and rescue operations in Norway in winter.
The participants of the course are from the Red Cross, other voluntary organizations and public rescue agencies. The course takes place on 28 and 29 February.
So important to shine a spotlight on rescue management. This couple always brings a smile to my face. They come across as so real and accessible to the public that they serve. Kudos!!

Good to see the CP couple out and about even though there isn't too much fashion going on here. I am sure the Norweigan Red Cross is glad to get their public support for the mission.

Still winter in Norway!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is. Some parts of Norway has 2 months left of winter. Finse has snow until June they are at 1 222 m. Funny facts several Americans movies/tv have been recording here. They recorded Star Wars Empire Strikes back here for the Hoth ice planet scenes.
DeleteLe couple princier fait vraiment plaisir à voir au cours de cette visite !
ReplyDeleteNice to see the husband and wife team. Hope she can handle the cold weather with her lung issue. She is a beautiful woman, inside and out. Suza

Am delighted to see this couple. They are warm, inviting, even though I can only see a few snapshots/moments of their visit. Hope she is doing well and wish the King a speedy recovery from his recent hospitalization while on a short vacation.
