  1. Oh no! I thought that the short legged trouser suit and the shooties might have gone to the royal equivalent of the charity shop! Colour is still nice.

      I am also not a fan of the shorter pants with a gap showing between the bottom of the pants legs and the booties.

      Totally agree with you! Really hate shooties and especially hate seeing them paired with cropped trousers. Janet

    3. For me short legged trousers ok with high heels shoes, not really with booties. However I wonder whether trends might not be the same in Sweden. Nice color, globally I like it very much.

      I will join you in disliking visible shooties, i.e. with cropped pants or skirts. Otherwise the coat is nice and the use of a little heavier gold jewellery adds some light to this rater dark outfit.

      @Mary
      Even as a swede, I don't like the shoes/trousers combination 😉

      Not the trousers that are the problem here, its the shoes! These short booties should be forbidden, they do not look good with pants and definitely not with a skirt.

      I seem to be the only one who likes this combo. :-) Stylish and suitable for a Nordic winter weather. I think theh pants + booties look good.

    Sweet Victoria, happy and beautiful but that plumcolored outfit, oh no. Oh no. So glum and so many nuances and what things does she have on her feet…..some kind of shoes, but no, no, no. We need happier colors, different matching colors. Especially at this time of the year. But it doesn’t really matter that much as long as she looks happy! Ca

      @ Ca. The only thing that is wrong here are the short trousers. Maybe you don't like the booties worn by CP Victoria, but in her country and also in the rest of Europe these booties are coming back each Winter. I do not wear them myself because of the heels (to dangerous to fall when it is snowing or freezing).
      I like her in this plume color. It suits her hair and skin color.

      I like the colour. As for darker colours, it’s very normal in European cities to wear sombre colours over winter; look around and most will be in black, so this plum fits into winter fashion well esp for an academic visit. I don’t know how she so elegantly wears such heels but can absolutely understand the choice of booties given current winter temps (although I’d be wearing woolly socks and flat soled fleece lined boots myself!). - AnneLise

    Love the color on Victoria---its great color to mix with other colors. I wish she would not wear these cropped trousers with shooties--regular heels or flats would look so much better.

    I’m sure those shoes are expensive but I don’t care for the very thin heel and the gap to the pant leg.

    I think this color looks good on Victoria, but I do personally wish that she would try lipstick and a new hairdo. She’s beautiful as she is, but it would be nice to see a different look sometimes.

  7. En cette période hivernale, je trouve que la couleur lie-de-vin lui va à ravir mais au niveau des bottines, je les aurais peut-être vues de couleur noire. Sans porter un manteau, le roi a l’air d’avoir froid !

    The plump colour looks very good on Victoria, I like the booties but not with cropped pants. I wonder when is she going to let go of this awful cheap plastic hair clip. (probably not). imo it is not classy.

    The hair, the whole outfit and the dark color makes her look tired and older

    The plum colours are beautiful, CP Victoria, equally lovely, and appropriate for the occasion. I personally would not wear the booties, in wintery weather, but she must feel confident in her ability to get around in them without falling on the floor. Edwina
