Beautiful princess, am glad she is wearing heels and not flats, as she did on her wedding. But her hair has seen better days

Having been to Singapore I know it can be humid ( 83% yesterday) not easy if you have curly hair. Princess Rajwa is a lovely woman and both outfits were appropriate for the occasions.

It's because there's such high humidity in Singapore, it ruins your hairstyle unless you know how to deal with it...

The hair police has found a new victim. Now she still has to pass the waist police and see what they have to say.

  3. That white dress looks a bit bridal, but suits her. The pantsuit looks good!

    2. I wonder what she was used to wearing before. Wasn't she Saudi? Perhaps these styles are new to her? I am afraid I am ignorant of her history.

  5. Vraiment une très belle princesse ; peut-être que c'est une impression mais il me semble qu'un heureux évènement va être confirmé sous peu ?!

I suspect that she has chosen her health and foot comfort before fashion or decorum, and good for her if she feels like that. Perhaps a relaxed culture in a tropical climate and not continually being in the main spotlight allows her this freedom.

Have you been to Singapore? It’s a casual dressing place, given the climate. This Prime Minister and wife have been in this role 20 years, and she is 70, so I reckon she knows what she’s doing with her shoe choice! By 70 so many people have sore feet and wearing what’s comfortable is not just ok but completely fine. She’s an electrical engineer, running a US$287 billion company and one of Forbes top most powerful women in the world. She surely knows her mind and how to make good choices for herself eh?! You could say “those shoes are not to my taste”, but appreciating the context most often helps us understand and let the other enjoy their choice without being too negative in our choice of words. - AnneLise

    3. Agree with you, Anon 14 32. My 93 year old mother in law wears shoes like these. I wonder if perhaps she has something wrong with her feet? To AnneLise and Anon 9 13, it is possible to wear comfortable casual shoes without them being ugly

@AnnieM But maybe to her they are not ugly shoes but normal shoes, commonly worn by women her age in Singapore and therefore acceptable to their standards. I have seen older Asian (and non-Asian) women where I live wearing comfortable shoes like that.

That’s a lot of stuff hanging from the sleeves. I would have preferred simpler sleeves.

I was about to say the same thing. There's too much frou-frou on the sleeves. Less would have been more. Lovely to see P.Rajwa though.

The ties on the sleeve came untied. The picture along side the one of the model wearing the dress shows it tied.

Modest or conservative, it's going to be nice to see her choices. Thanks for posting. Christine

I like the gold belt and shoes. It breaks up the stark white. The CP is blessed with height so can carry off a longer length.
I’m sure Sophie DoE has the same pink GH suit.Very professional very business like.A lot of our royal ladies wear pants suits. Bea

Seems she “inherited” Rania’s style. I like both her outfits very much.

The white dress looks great with the gold belt, although the sleeves are a bit fussy.

  12. Love the white dress. So simple and elegant. The trouser suit is fine but I'm not sure about the double breasted jacket.

Gorgeous couple! Not the biggest fan of the white dress - it's giving Star Wars meets bridal boutique, but it's undoubtedly elegant. The pink suit looks comfortable and appropriate, not much to say fashion-wise. I'm happy to see them both taking on more active roles in the Jordanian monarchy and am looking forward to seeing Rajwa experiment with more elaborate styles further down the line.

Girl, comb your hair! You're a future queen. (And I don't want to hear about humidity. There are waaaayyy too many products on the market to combat that.)

What products do you suggest? You sound like you have experience with the climate in Singapore. I have natural curls that I straighten and I would be at a loss to find myself fighting that humidity. I'm afraid my hair would quadruple in volume. Thanks in advance!

Have you not heard of this thing called Google? Have not heard of this thing called Amazon? I'm assuming you have Internet connection 'cause your on here posting a sarcastic sounding question. I'm African -American with European mixture so I know about wavy hair and friz. One of my "go to" line of products is Paul Mitchell and I also like Optimum Salon Haircare, and Mielle products. Does that answer your question?Again, there's a lot out there to choose from. She has both the means and the money. No excuse.

Princess Rajwa looks wonderful! I like the white dress except for the sleeves--way too much. I love how she's styled it with the gold shoes and belt--very chic. The color of the trouser suit is beautiful color for Rajwa but the jacket seems a bit too large. If it were better tailored for her I think it would be totally fabulous.

  17. The Princess looks lovely, the accessories work in well. The ribbon that is hanging and bows at the back of the dress I am not a fan of. The pantsuit looks good, the color is gorgeous. However, the jacket, appears too large, the sleeves?
