On January 9, Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the opening of the new library at Vahl Primary School in Oslo. Vahl Primary School is Norway’s most multicultural school. The school has 31 teachers, including 5 native speakers from the main Norwegian languages. The school library is seen and used as an extension of the class room. The range of library activities represents added value in the teaching of pupils from minority groups, and in helping their subsequent integration in the society.
Mette Marit wanted to work in a library as a child!

DeleteThe princess looks happy and healthy. Love her gorgeous hair against her black ensemble. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteShe looks well rugged up, must be very cold. She is engaging and happy.
ReplyDeleteOslo is a very, very cold city during the winter. Parts of the Oslofjord freezes over in the winter. This means that the heat effect from the water in the fjord is small compared to the cooling of the surrounding terrain. Therefore, winter in Oslo is more similar to places with an inland climate. PS it was around -10/12°C yesterday.
DeleteLouise 06.47 Thank you for the insight, I had no idea of the coldness. We are in the depths of Summer here, Yuk!
DeleteShe looks so polished in the outdoor photos…she wears winter layers and colors well!
ReplyDeleteQuel plaisir de voir Mette-Marit qui paraît en bonne santé ; j'adore les ondulations de ses cheveux blonds !

ReplyDeleteM-M looks lovely and wholesome... Weather looks foul.... But it certainly does good things for the complexions!
ReplyDeleteA perfect ensemble put together. She looks absolutely lovely and looks like she has cut a bit of her hair or is it the curls?
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to see MM has recovered to be out and about again!! She is lovely, inside and out, her smile radiates anywhere she goes. Edwina
