Before Christmas, the Swedish Royal Family visited the Royal Opera House last week to attend the ballet performance The Nutcracker. At the Opera, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel watched the Royal Ballet and the Royal Swedish Orchestra performing The Nutcracker, with music by Pjotr Tchaikovsky.
The production of The Nutcracker at the Royal Opera has taken place since 1995 and is choreographed by Pär Isberg.
Love Oscar’s smile in the first picture! So sweet to see cousins together. The Swedish royal family seems like they are a close-knit, loving family.

It’s not very often you can see Oscar smiling 🥰
ReplyDeleteDepuis quelque temps, j'ai du plaisir à voir Oscar esquisser un sourire ; qu'il continue sur sa lancée car c'est un charmant petit garçon qui va en faire craquer plus d'une !
ReplyDeleteI like what the children are wearing. Neat and smart but not unnecessarily formal. I´m glad they didn´t put the boys in suits for this. White shirts with a nice jumper on top is just right.
ReplyDeleteOnly the Wales are formally dressed with suits, we have here a lovely down to earth family.
DeleteGabriel is a miniSofia!
ReplyDeleteWhat nice little children. The memory they will have been marvelous, for later in life.
ReplyDeleteThe children are delightful. Such lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree!
DeleteWonderful family memories and photos for a lifetime. Everyone looked well dressed, not too much, not too little, just right. Edwina
ReplyDeleteNice to have the cousins close bond. Great pics! The kids are growing fast !
