The organization "Freid um Liesen" has been working since 1996 to awaken children's interest in reading. For its traditional annual activity, this year Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie and Prince Charles gave support to the non-profit organization “Freed um Liesen” by participating in their Advent calendar.
This year, for her contribution to the advent calendar of the organization, in which a new children's book is presented every day, the Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie chose the Luxembourgish version of a French classic "The Little Prince" for reading out to Prince Charles. The Little Prince is a novel written and illustrated by French aristocrat, writer, and military pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
This is wonderful. Although their outfits are beautifully Christmassy, this scene is beyond fashion. It speaks to love, togetherness, and everything that is best about the season.
ReplyDeleteIt seems almost redundant to say it anymore but Prince Charles is an exceptionally pretty child. I kind of don't want to see him grow out of this stage.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised and disappointed not to see a Christmas card from the HGD couple this year, featuring all four of them. They always have the best Royal cards since Charles was born and it's François first Christmas.

ReplyDeleteAh so so cute ! Even this is not a Christmas card, but so far, the best picture. Charles’ expression is priceless. A fleeting capture of a genuine smile, no pose, no fuss.
