  1. J'admire le courage du roi qui ose sortir par ce temps très froid au risque de tomber sur un sol glissant ; la reine est pimpante dans cet élégant manteau en fourrure avec ce genre de chapeau cloche en feutre !

    1. Yes, I understand that Crown Princess Mette-Marit has COVID. I hope she will recover soon, none the worse for wear, but it is a sad time to be ill.

    2. Many? The entire CP family went to another church. Sometimes I wonder if we think everything they do is ment for us readers...

  5. Sorry to say it but I can't stand it that she is wearing a fur coat, as if that is stil okay. It is not. Wearing fur coats is from the past.

    1. Fur has been used in Norway for thousands of years. Spar me the PC fashion judgement, the Queen dresses impeccably for the occasion. Leo

    2. @18:07 As you said fur has been worn thousands of years does not mean that there cannot be changes in the next thousands of years. Royals should lead by example. Wearing wool can keep you warm as well. As you may know it takes 50-60 mink pelts to make a coat and up to 300 chinchillas to make one

    3. Fur is way warmer then wool, it's cold in Norway.... it's her choice and she looks lovely.

    4. And how do you know it's not fake?

    5. LOL. There is a Queen who has been on the throne for over 50 years, and uses fur more then all the other royal put together, but never do we see comments like this. Guab, it's time to watch our hypocrisy first I guess we have lots to fix at home.

    6. @23:36 has it also occured to you that some of these items are not new but were bought long before today's sentiments. One doesn't just throw out a fur coat. As you said "it takes 50-60 mink pelts to make a coat and up to 300 chinchillas to make one", surely it will be in vain to throw away what already exists.

Where I am from, we still use animal products like leather, the only difference is we take it from the animals that we have killed to eat. Sorry if you're vegan or vegetarian.

    7. So according to you we should not even wear fur we have inherited because it offends you and your followers sensitive soul? How sustainable is that kind of attitude?
I still wear my 92 year old fur coat from my beloved grandmother with great pride. Nothing is even close to keep me warm the same way when it is freezing.

    8. And no doubt @Lisa 14:09 you wear synthetic shoes and carry a plastic clutch/handbag and drive a car with fake leather seat covers.
If you have kids, I hope they don’t have a leather football.
And I could go on about the slaughtering of calves for their skin as it can be transformed into high priced fashion clothing and other items.

  6. Love Queen Sonja's cozy coat. Emma Behn looks to have inherited her mother's good looks.
