Prince Sverre Magnus will turn 18 on December 3, 2023. On December 1, Norwegian King Harald and Queen Sonja held a lunch at the Royal Palace of Oslo on the occasion of Prince Sverre Magnus’ upcoming 18th birthday.
In addition to the royal family, representatives from Norway’s public authorities and youth organizations attended the official lunch. Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Princess Astrid were present at the lunch.
An official photograph of the family was taken before the luncheon began. The photograph shows Prince Sverre Magnus with his grandparents, parents, and sister, and was taken in the White Parlour at the Royal Palace. Prince Sverre Magnus has been given a bunad (Norwegian national costume) from The King and Queen, and today he is wearing it for the first time.
Everyone looks great. Must be a special moment for him to receive his bunad. Lovely photos.

I cannot remember any picture of King Harald in a traditional suit.
DeleteThe King never use a national costume. A bunad has place/city/County association, and King has said he's the King for the hole country.
