On December 21, 2023, Spanish King Felipe IV and Queen Letizia attended the concert organized on the occasion of the ending of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union at the National Auditorium in Madrid. The concert was given by the National Orchestra and Choir of Spain.
On July 1, 2023, Spain took over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Presidency wiil end on December 31, 2023. Every six months, one of the EU Member States takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

It's a smart looking pantsuit and suitable for the evening. I like the silver or metal buttoms but there is too much black overall. A different coloured camisole would make it more interesting.

Very elegant suit on Letizia—the details aren’t seen so clearly in the photos so thank you to Helen for the fashion pictures. Earrings are a welcome sparkle. Have noticed that Letizia does not seem to wear many necklaces over the years, which is fine, just noticed. Some people do not like the feel of them on their neck.

Je remarque que le Roi n'est plus embarassé par l'attelle de poignet portée pendant un temps ; cela a dû lui permettre de la rééducation et de reprendre des activités normales !

If you look at the pictures of the whole group, it looks like they are (almost) all dressed to go to a funeral. Blond women are lovely with a black suit or dress. Women with dark hair are immediately looking older when they wear a whole black outfit. Black is O.K. but a touch of white or red or another bright color to break the black is better. Sorry but that is how I see it (on others and on myself).

DeleteThe time that black was a Winter color and white and bright colors Spring and Summer colors is long time over. I have nothing against black but the way it is styled can make a huge difference. For a night out in this time of the year, just before Christmas and New Year I see it with silver shoes and a silver clutch, given the silver button on her jacket.
DeleteIn my opinion, you are just a troll looking for reactions. By now you must know that black is not reserved for funerals. You know it is a color worn year round. Hair color does not determine who best wears black. Skin tone plays a very important part in that as well. You give yourself away as a person who is not well informed in these matters.

DeleteAnd you are ? I know that black is not reserved for funerals, although when a royal funeral takes place all the attendants are dressed in black. I follow the way queen's and princesses are dressed during the seasons. I can read articles written by professionals about up-to-date fashion in magazines and on the internet. I can look at fashion shows on you tube. I think I am well informed in these matters.

This pantsuit looks fabulous. The pants are a good length, the jacket is a nice fit, love the length. The black top underneath, I like. The diamond earrings are stunning, beautiful size of substance. Her up style hair and makeup are on point. The King looks well groomed and beautifully attired, a handsome man.
