Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg, as Honorary President of MUDAM, visited the museum's new exhibitions. The Princess first attended the opening of the exhibition "A Model : Prelude" by Lebanese architect Rayyane Tabet that expresses the personal memories of the artist. Two of the works are about the architecture of MUDAM.
The Princess then visited "The Collective Laboratory" exhibition by Line Ajan and Clementine Proby, displayed as presentations that have the particularity of being fun, friendly and collaborative workshops, connecting visitors and artists around ancestral cuisine and looms. The exhibitions can be seen until May 24, 2024 and January 14, 2024, respectively.
Very nice Stephanie. I like very much her jumper.
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with a smart red jumper and black pants.
DeleteAgree! Damsel Dragonfly
DeleteNice informal combo for an informal occasion.
ReplyDeleteBut why aren't those two little rascals there? 😁
What a nice outfit, the jumper is gorgeous! Ac
ReplyDeleteHGD Stéphanie is looking happy. I like her top, but I'd bought it 1 size bigger. It fits right now, but what if she gains a little weight, it won't fit anymore.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you consider making a 'what if' negative comment like this? Perhaps she bought that size as an incentive not to gain more weight. She might have more self control than you're used to.

I don’t think this comment “what if” is negative, I think it’s just a practical person reflecting out loud a valid pre-purchase question. A rich person may not ask the same question!, and hence none of our princesses may need to ask it … but for most of us we want to be able to wear a garment over and over to get our value! - AnneLise
DeleteThe size of the jumper is perfect (bigger would mean baggier !). Assuming she would need a larger size, she surely can afford it, not like some citizens.
Delete@AnneLise : I think the size is right.
DeleteBut I always think what’s going to happen when it goes through the wash 😮
You could be surprised by rich people who can afford to buy what they want. Sometimes they prefer to spent the money they would give on clothes on things like setting up projects they support financially (i.e. the work of Queen Silvia against child abuse) or projects that come up for the protection of our climate, or to save energy like renovations works to an old castle or palace, ... There are so many possibilities that cost a lot of money. One has always the choice in live what to do with our money. I also notice that older royals are wearing their outfits much longer than the younger ones, just like retired commoners are doing.
Delete@Anne-Lise: It's the 'reflecting out loud' part that makes it negative and rude. Keep such thoughts to yourself. You wouldn't walk into a room full of strangers, look at someone's top that seemed to be too tight to you and announce in front of the group (or even a chat group), "Why didn't you buy a size bigger? What if you put on 20 pounds and can't fit into it any more?", would you? (Or perhaps you're telling us that you actually would.)

Dear @ Anonymous,
Deletemy 6th sense tells me you are referring your comment 2/12/23 at 12:49 to yourself.
I think you put down your own fears over your body in words.
Stephanie is just a pretext.
I don't buy it, sorry.
You have an obsession with weight.
It's not sane, try to get out of this dangerous labyrinth.
Beautiful color on Stéphanie.
ReplyDeleteThe color and fit of this sweater/top look very nice on Stephanie.

The pants and bright pink jumper look lovely. She looks happy and engaging, a pleasure to see her.
ReplyDeleteShe is always are delight to see. Her smile is just beautiful. Red looks lovely on her.
ReplyDeleteVery nice look for Stephany today. css
ReplyDeleteWhoever is dressing her is doing a much better job than the last person. She looks wonderful. The only thing I would change would be to wear tops with a little more length. I think she would probably feel more comfortable during this transition stage while losing baby weight.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she has someone "who is dressing her". The GD Ducal family are not big spenders I think. There are more royal ladies who don't have a stylist. I know the royal houses have capable persons at their services who sometimes have multiple tasks a.o. to look after the clothes of a queen or a couple of princesses. Some royal houses have still a seaming department who make dresses shorter or longer (if possible), who can adapt dresses for the daughter(s), that once belonged to the mother. That is what real rich people are doing today before throwing or giving away their old clothes or gala dresses.
DeleteStephanie is radiant. Good to see the happiness vibes when see her pics. Motherhood suits her perfectly 😉
ReplyDeleteAnna
I think she looks great, nice smile … but I don’t like a red-black combo in general nor this jumper. It’s nice to go for a walk but I would have liked another outfit for this occasion.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this outfit is suitable for a walk. Princess Stephanie's lack of elegance on her official outings is unfortunate!
DeleteIn her own way Stephanie likes a sort of minimalist style. She has improved her style a lot over the last months.
DeleteAs simple as her outfit can be, P Stephanie is so pretty, engaging and smiling.
ReplyDeleteShe does not need any addition of jewels or high- end accessoires.
She Is perfect for what she is, just herself.
Goodness shines through her eyes and that's more than enough.
I guess it must be so nice to talk to her and just enjoy t'he company of this kind and approachable lady.
As the Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, she should be able to dress simply but elegantly!
