  1. The evening gown is lovely.
I think we have seen this feminine and floaty dress on a previous occasion.

She is a lovely woman but honestly not all her outfits are always fitting well, not today and not in the past. She has outfits that are working for her but not that many.

Good outfits, with one exception. I like her dark blue coat very much, the hat has a somewhat awkward form but it does not ruin the good overall impression. The silvery white evening gown is lovely too, I prefer this belt to the self belt, which can look good if carefully arranged for a model photo - but almost never looks good on a real woman who is not standing still but moving. Nice earrings too. Then, I like her in the real uniform. However, that terrible Bally mock uniform jacket with all those golden buttons should be left in Canada or wherever she cannot reach for it any more. Never :-)) (GM)

I love the hat, and in its 2nd (?) appearance I think the Bally jacket looks fantastic. Yes it’s definitely looking “military” but she looks fantastically neat and happy in it… I think because the prior photos show her in ceremonial uniform, that then seeing the Bally military styling fits right in. I think she’s fabulous and that she would be an easy Royal to host and please because she seems so down to earth and interested in the people she meets. - AnneLise

I cannot get used to the "uniform" jacket of Duchess Sophie. It seems so useless to me that royal ladies who never did any military service or training wear uniforms or decorations. The diamond brooch cannot be seen very well on the evening dress because of the fabric on which it is attached. The silver evening dress is lovely but there is something wrong with the cut. It looks like there is too much fabric in the waist area. Even on the model who looks very thin the waist area is not very attractive. Rose

Very nice evening dress and the belt is great. Much better than the self fabric belt on the model.
Love her hat and coat. The hat has a cossack vibe, a good choice at a military function.

  7. Quelle magnifique robe de soirée que j'aurais aimée avec une ceinture en tissu nouée comme sur le mannequin ; les boucles d'oreilles et la broche délicates sont tout à fait à mon goût !

That so-called uniform jacket is terrible. Everything else gets a pass, nothing exciting but it wasn’t supposed to be either. It’s an opposite to remind those who fought for us to be where we are today. In that regard, her sartorially choices were appropriate.

I like Sophie's long coat the most, the evening dress is also beautiful. Although many debaters here do not like the military cut jacket with gold buttons, I have a different opinion - I like it. It makes good posture. The duchess has excellent makeup and nicely styled hair. Hard to believe that she will soon be 59. She is elegant and dignified

  10. These outfits all look good. I would so love to see Sophie's engagements published more. She does such good work, mostly under the radar, with little fanfare or fuss. I admire her very much, she is such a wonderful support to the King.

The Dss looks good in evening gown or great looking coat as well in Military outfit. She really seems to enjoy this work event in Canada. css

Sophie is beautiful in the long coat, boot outfit, the white evening gown does not emphasize her figure, and the neckline is bland. The other outfits all look quite nice for each occasion. Edwina
