On November 15, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia held a diplomatic reception at Stockholm Royal Palace for ambassadors from Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Bolivia, Canada, Egypt and Japan. A few times a year, newly-appointed ambassadors and their spouses are given the opportunity to meet The King and Queen during a reception at the Royal Palace. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel also attended the diplomatic reception.
On November 15, Queen Silvia presented the Alzheimer Foundation's 2023 Young Alzheimer’s Researcher Award to Dr. Jacob Vogel from Lund University, who is a leading researcher in neurodegenerative diseases and has already contributed several important findings to Alzheimer's research.
The ceremony held at the German Church (Tyska Kyrkan) in the Old Town of Stockholm. The Queen Silvia Prize to a Young Alzheimer’s Researcher was established in 2014 by the Alzheimer’s Foundation (Alzheimerfonden) on the occasion of the Queen’s 70th birthday.

ReplyDeleteAlways love this classic Chanel on the Queen. Great color and cut! A little hard to see Victoria, but I like the colors and her earrings look very stylish.
