South Korea's President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife Kim Keon Hee are making a State Visit to the UK at the invitation of the King. On November 22, President Yoon Suk Yeol, accompanied by The Duchess of Edinburgh, took part in a roundtable discussion on how to collectively strengthen the role of basic science to advance humanity at the Royal Society in London.
Chloe Long Wrap Coat
Aspiga London Victoria V-Neck Long Sleeve Stretch Corduroy Dress
The dress isn´t terrible but it´s certainly not what I´d wear for a state visit.
ReplyDeleteDress looks better on this occasion than previous time. where is the Duke? this is a state visit and he never seems to accompany her even on important events.

he is in nz and australia on duke of edinburgh awards tour
DeleteHe is in Australia. Ela
DeleteThe Duchess of Edingburgh is just glowing, but sadly I don't like the outfit.

Glad to see KCIII recognizes the talents of Sophie that he entrusts her with an important role during a state visit--she is truly the unsung gem in BRF. Sophie looks beautiful here in her elegant Chloe coat. I do like the dress as the color is beautiful on Sophie, just hoping she styled it without black boots/tights and heels (not sure which) she wore last time out.

It looks like Duchess Sophie is always stand by when it comes to do the duties. I did not see Edward her husband, since the beginning of this state visit.
ReplyDeleteShe looks fine in her coat and dress to accompany the president.
I read that Edward is in Australia. He misses quite a lot. This must have been planned a long time ago, as all things are. It seems strange that he is away for so many seemingly important events.
DeleteVery pretty dark blue dress. Hard to see the details of the coat but I am sure it looks good.
ReplyDeleteTrès élégant ce manteau portefeuille qui a l'avantage de cacher la robe qui ne favorise pas du tout la silhouette de Sophie !
ReplyDeleteThe Duke of Edinburgh is in Australia so clearly can’t attend the events in London! 🇦🇺
ReplyDeleteNice dress for the Duchess. I yearn for a pair of scissors to cut several inches off the length ✂️

The Duchess is looking lovely as usual. Like the Brown boots better than the black. But where is her Prince? They have not been photographed together for 5 or 6 weeks.
ReplyDeleteThey were at Rememberance events together on November 11th and 12th, then he left for his trip on November 13th. He has been in Singapore, New Zealand and Australia since then.
DeleteEdward is in New Zealand carrying on his father's work. Sophie looks swell, but corduroy dress is not on.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is okay, but something about it I don't like, not quite sure, maybe the fabric, regardless she looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteFYI (for anyone interested in what the Prince has been doing on his visit to Australia) In his capacity representing the Duke of Edinburgh International Award. Prince Edward has been in our country for a 3 day visit. Yesterday the Prince paid a visit to the Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) in Woolloomooloo, Sydney. This was a really good visit, Edward got in and participated at the PCYC. It is lovely to see him there.
Poor choice of blue dress with ruffles. Too long; would look better on a person in their teens or 20s. A simple classic sheath would have looked far more fitting for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteCan someone say one more time that Edward is in Australia and etc...

DeleteOur darling Sophie needs more structure. She has that rounded, middle-aged figure that needs some straight lines to balance the curves. I do not mean HRH any disrespect, for my figure is just the same, so I know the challenges well. I would have loved her in a sharp jacket with a soft silk dress underneath. This dress catches her in all the wrong places.
ReplyDeleteLike the coat. She is doing just fine. The language barrier is a bit difficult. css
