King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the 25th anniversary event of the newspaper "La Razón" at La Razon's headquarters in Madrid. La Razón is a daily newspaper based in Madrid. It has the sixth-highest circulation among general-interest Spanish dailies, and the fourth-highest among those based in Madrid. La Razón was founded in 1998 by Luis Maria Anson.
Letizia est trop trop belle, tout lui va bien

On ne peut jamais être trop belle.
DeleteStunning dress worn by QL; she looks fantastic. Maybe, just maybe a different colour of her shoes would have been a better choice ...
ReplyDeleteI agree! She looks fabulous but the shoes ruin the look for me. But overall one of the best looks of this year. Damsel Dragonfly
DeleteThe shoes have not colour,I t is gold, It is just the light in the photos.
DeleteDon’t blame the shoes only. Her feet are very bony and the shoes just emphasize that.
DeleteQueen Letizia is gorgeous. Her shoes and clutch match perfectly. I think her shoes and clutch are gold. She is stunning!
DeleteGreat "little black dress!" and her hair is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteM
Agree, agree.

Agreed, just perfect. And those shoes provide just enough sparkle. That tailoring is absolutely perfect. Stunning.
DeleteChel
these curls reveal that thats not all her hair

DeleteYou didn't t get it right.
Not even on this post about Letizia.
There are no curls here, that's waved hair or just waves.
Basically, there two waved hair styles, the narrow and the large ones.
This this the narrow- medium ironed wave hair type.
I get my own hair styled this way sometimes.
A fixing spray plus a heat protection spray are applied on wet hair before using a waved iron .
What you see in these pics is the final result.
Hair stays in place still remaining soft and elastic.
Some hairstylists and mine too choose to put a few drops of a soecific lotion as the final touch to get a glowing effect all over.
This glowing effect looks more shining on platinum blonde hair.

Here's a link to different hairstyles worn by Jennifer Lawrence and you can see some example of the so- called waves- sometimes they are referred to as beach waves- on a blonde woman.
This is also the result I get.
The shining effect is more clear when hair is in movement under strong lights, of course
Anon 6:13 Do go on. I would love to know how you have deduced, based on curls, that this is not her hair. I am fascinated. Then, after proving your case, I would love to know why you care or felt the need to mention it. I believe you are wrong, but will gladly admit I am mistaken if you can prove your theory. Men and women have worn hair pieces for centuries and I am curious about the contingent of commenters here who think it is a terrible thing to do. Again, I am certain this is all Letizia's hair, but feel free to educate me.
Delete* wavy hair
DeleteShe looks AWESOME!! That figure in that dress, wow!! And her hair is so pretty too!!
ReplyDeleteGerat fitted dress. Love the off shoulder neck and the 3/4 sleeves. Shoes look off. Love the curly hair.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress, lovely hair, lovely shoes.
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous, the dress is fabulous--but the shoes! No to the shoes and YES to everything else.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Amazing.... just Amazing. The hair, makeup, complements and that dress, that simple black dress is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteEpoustouflante dans cette petite robe noire mais je trouve que les chaussures ne complètent pas agréablement son look ; les boucles de ses cheveux apportent de la légèreté et douceur !
ReplyDeleteWhen I looked at the last picture the first thing that I saw were the outfits of all the other women : some in a coat over their dress or pants, some in a long dress, some in short dresses, in pant suits. As for Queen Letizia : a nice little black dress, but the shoes. This type of shoes do not match at all. A contrasting color (red, silver, gold, ......) for clutch and shoes would have finished her look much better.
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are gold colour , also the bag, It is the light
DeleteLetizia is just gorgeous…her hair is beautiful here. Great dress, great figure, my only gripe is the shoes - I think black would’ve been a better choice. Felipe is my royal crush..always nice to see him! JJ
ReplyDeleteWhen QL turns it up a notch the result is always fabulous. Beautiful pictures on Getty. The sole and heels of the shoe are gold to match the purse.

The Queen looks amazing, but also looks out of place when compared to what other ladies were wearing.

Nice try.
DeleteWell said, Anon 23:30. How can a queen be improperly dressed because those that attended the event are dressed differently?
DeleteI have read both of you two anonymouses (20:30 and 04:37) comments and I don't get it. "nice try" at what? making an observation? I never said she was "improperly dressed", I said she looked "out of place when compared to ....other ladies". I didn't say it was a negative thing, just merely made an observation.

@T There have been a few times when a queen or a lesser royal has looked out of place. It may be something like showing up in stilettos and a dress to dig in a garden with school children. I don't think attending a 25th anniversary evening event in a navy blue, off-the-shoulder dress is looking out of place. I would argue that a few of the guests are dressed a little to casually. If you really believe the opposite, that the guests set the tone of the event, you will have many thoughts about the newest post on Queen Silvia. I will look for your opinions.
Delete@T. At these evening events at the end of a work day, some come from home, some come from work, and the Queen glams it up.
DeleteFlawless as always!
ReplyDeleteshe has stunning figure 👍
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful dress, she wears this style of gown beautifully. It suits her so well. Her hair and makeup are on point. Love her choice of accessories. The soft waves of her hair is soft and natural looking.
