On November 30, Dutch Queen Maxima, honorary president of SchuldenlabNL, attended a meeting of the National Coalition for Financial Health (NCFG) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. The NCFG is a broad coalition of 42 organisations and businesses whose main goal is to cut in half the number of workers who are financially unhealthy by 2030.

Le peu que je peux voir de cette robe rose se combine à merveille avec les motifs gris de son manteau ; je ne suis pas tellement fan de la couleur de ses chaussures qui auraient mieux convenu en gris foncé ou même Bordeaux !
ReplyDeleteI love the colours (black and dusty rose) and I love the coat. A good use of a 7 year old re-wear. This outfit is functional and appropriate for its purposes.

Lovely coat and dress combination. she really has her game on lately.

No game, she just does not care about appearance when she is not the 'star' attraction. Messy hair day, yet again, it far out numbers the days her hair has extensions or is styled nicely by a profession. Disgrace for a queen to disrespect her county in that manner. jj
DeleteI agree. Almost afraid to comment in case it all falls apart! Love the colour combo in this outfit although for once I prefer the coat open

@jj I doubt Maxima WANTS to be the star attraction. As queen, she simply IS the star attraction. Referring to her like that is off-putting, but suggesting that she doesn't care about her appearance is ignorant. She doesn't spend a lot of money on a hair stylist and I think many people can appreciate that. The days of excess spending by royals don't sit so well with most people now. She can only do so much with her thin hair on her own. Instead of seizing the opportunity to constantly criticize her for her hair, you should think, "There but for the grace of God go I." Whatever caused her hair to go from thick and healthy to sparse and weak could happen to you as well. It happens to many women with age, hormones and illness. It is so easy to assume the worst. Try being kinder.
Delete@jj I agree. She represents the royalty, and messy hair is very disrespectful, as she often does. If she doesn't hire a hairstylist, she could have short hair style and tidy it up instead of having it messed up all the time and looking uncomfortable.
Delete@ All those who always find something to criticize Queen Maxima.
DeleteI think most people in The Netherlands do not bother when her hair is not done by a professional. On special occasions in The Netherlands (state visits, Prinsjesdag, Koningsdag, remembrance days, etc...) her hair is always beautiful. On a simple week day to visit a school or a factory i.e. she wears it sometimes loose, sometimes in a pony tale and sometimes in a bun. I don't think she disrespect her country. When her hair is done like in Paris you criticize her for being the "star" and the center of attention. When she is wearing a hat you criticize her because you think she is overdressed for the occasion (under a hat you can hide bad hair). If you don't like somebody you can always find something to criticize. I agree with Anonymous 30/11 22:04.
What ever happened to her look from yesterday?
ReplyDeleteLovely color on that jacket and her blouse. Her hair was sooo lovely yesterday I miss that style already
ReplyDeleteBack to Natan. Coat too short or dress too long. And she forgot to brush her hair.
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima is back in The Netherlands and now it is business as usual. The hair extensions are gone and she found a old combination of coat and dress in the back of her closet. On the picture of 2016 one can see that the dress was shorter. Her outfit is still lovely. A pity the color of her shoes and handbag do not match her outfit very well.
ReplyDeleteThe dress and coat are beautiful but I see her hairdresser was a no show. Oh well can't have it all I guess.
ReplyDeleteLeft her good looks and fashion in France, shame,
ReplyDeleteMabel
The pink dress looks good, it fits well. The coat in this instance works well. Love the color of her accessories.
ReplyDeleteLove her outfit, the style and the colours. Very classy.
ReplyDeleteDear No Name 16:50. I completely agree with you. It would be much more pleasant to write to you if you if you gave yourself a name.

I gave myself a name (a nickname). But I received so many attacks from certain bloggers that I gave it up a while. When I came back, under a new nickname, I regularly discovered that my comments were manipulated. My nickname disappeared and signed by another name than mine. I decided to continue under Anonymous, because I like to exercise my English. I learned a lot of new expressions (idioms like my English teacher told us in college). I still make mistakes but as I am not the only Anonymous on this blog, you will be able to read me in the future as well.
DeleteDear Anonymous, I have never had any problems with my name. I have my opinions, there is nothing to hide, and as far as I can tell, there are quite a few bloggers here who have the same approach. I suspect there are many bloggers who hide behind multiple Anonymous messages and either bash certain royals unfairly or glorify them and attack those who use names. This is unfair.

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing bad with her hair, sometimes she has it better , but such a beautiful woman can never go wrong.
