well done Q, Maxima, its been great styling lately.
ReplyDeleteFabulous. She's been hitting a new and very beautiful fashion style these past few months.
ReplyDelete- Anon 9:13
None of the clothes she is wearing here are new. She wore the dress, the Valentino cape, the shoes, the handbag everything last Winter and the Winters before. People forget so quickly.
Delete@Anon 07:18 I didn't say that her clothes were new. I said that her fashion style is new, which means that she is combining her clothes (new and old) in different ways, different colour combinations and she wears less chunky jewellery and fewer accessories (hats). People don't read properly and make incorrect conclusions.

Anon 07:18 Nobody has said this is a new outfit. Are we not supposed to comment because we have seen it before? I love this dress. She can bring it out every winter until it falls apart.
DeleteShe wore it exactly last winter like she is wearing it now. That is all I wanted to explain in my answer to Anon 9:13 who said "She's been hitting a NEW and very beautiful fashion style".
Deletewords lost in translation, 'hitting a new and very beautiful fashion style' has nothing to do with new clothes.
Delete@Missy: Asante sana.

No but everything with a new style which it isn't.
DeleteThis is lovely! Bright but simple so the focus is on her and not strange and distracting accessories.
ReplyDeleteOh, Anon 23:58 : Please, fun plus “ strange and distracting accessories.“ are the trademark of Maxima OTT.
DeleteThe word Maxima is a synonym of OTT.
If she changed, fashion would have to be re-written.
Great outfit. Lovely red dress and the cape/cloak is so much better than the coat over the shoulders thing. Another great look for Queen Maxima
ReplyDeleteDear AnnieM : The “coat over the shoulders thing”, Queen Letizia wore her coat over the shoulders during her recent state visit to DenmarK
DeleteNot a word was said
You are right "deadeggs". I thought so myself when I saw the pictures of Queen Letizia in Denmark.
DeleteYep, @Anon 19:00 : I think it’s just a case of two rules.
DeleteOne Spanish, one Dutch.
QM looks wonderful in red! What a stylish and beautiful look on her! MR
ReplyDeleteI agree with the comments. She has been dressing impeccably these last few months. This dress is stunning and fits the Queen so well. Move over Natan! Make room for D&G :)
ReplyDeleteI repeat it again she wore exactly the same during last winter.
DeleteIf she or Queen Mathilde are wearing their old dresses by Natan or other brands, they receive good comments. When the outfit was new the comments were not always very encouraging. I think the queens of "the low lands by the sea" are always ahead with their outfits, they are trendy ladies.
Queen Maxima looks stunning in this dress. Love the combination with this wine-coloured cape and accessories. A look to be repeated! Damsel Dragonfly
ReplyDeleteElegant ♥️
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Great color, fit, drama, and smile. Wish I was Queen and could wear this outfit🤣
ReplyDeleteShe looks so good here!! Love the whole look!!
ReplyDeleteMême si au premier abord, je n'aime pas trop le Bordeaux avec le rouge, je vois que Maxima a su les combiner dans un style qui lui sied à merveille ; tout son look est superbe particulièrement sa robe !
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful red dress and I never get tired of seeing it, So classic and elegant. I usually do not like this cape often worn with something beige, but this time the combination for red and maroon in fantastic
ReplyDeleteFabulous colour, fabulous design. Love this Queen she has a beautiful smile.
ReplyDeleteIf the royal ladies are setting the fashion for the colour of our Christmas wardrobes, then it looks like it’s got to be red or black.
ReplyDeleteWell, it seems I'm the only one who doesn't like this outfit. I don't like the combination of the two red colors or the sleeveless cape.
ReplyDeleteThe red dress looks stunning. I am not a fan of the cape/red color v the red dress, regardless beautiful ensemble. Love the accessory color.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the colors of the cape and the dress are not a good match, but the dress is a nice color and shape. But, as usual, her hair spoils the effect.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I do not care for these two shades of red together, but even she had just worn the dress (which is actually pretty) her hair does spoil it all.
DeleteM
Like this D& G dress the color is very nice. I like her whole outfit today. css
ReplyDeleteFabulous dress but I would have preferred a differently cut cape.
ReplyDeleteThe overlapping Chanel red shade of the dress+ the deep red veering towards burgundy hue of the cape is a suble eye- catching feature👍
Does it really matter if the clothes are new or old ?. she looks great , in these colours.
