On November 9, Queen Camilla visited the 95th Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in London. There, the Queen planted a Cross of Remembrance and met with veterans and serving military personnel. The Field of Remembrance has been held in the grounds of Westminster Abbey since November 1928 for the purpose of commemorating those who have lost their lives serving in the Armed Forces.

  1. Bien maquillée si je m'abstiens de regarder ses lèvres qui -à mon avis- ont bénéficié d'un maquillage permanent d'ailleurs mal effectué !

    1. Dear Achard Tulipe, Are you sure that Queen Camilla has resorted to permanent lip liner? At any rate, the lip liner used is supposed to make the lips larger and the result does not look very flattering. As QC does not use botox, fillers etc. - this I admire enormously - I cannot really imagine that she would do something with her lips.

  2. What an ugly outfit (pictures 1 - 4). The hat is the ugliest one she has. The short cape is looking ridiculous and the green dress is too short to wear with the boots. The black dress with the white lace ornaments makes me think of a chic apron. Lucky she did not wear the boots inside. The electric blue dress is lovely, even when it is made in the same old style).

    1. The black and lace dress reminds me of what one would have the maid wear when having dinner guests.

    2. In the Victorian period perhaps, but not today.

  3. HM looks great! In contrast to the Prince and Princess of Wales this couple seems to be hard working with their permanent official appearances. Thank you.

  4. It is really heartwarming to see Queen Camilla’s growing confidence and her dedication.
Fashionwise I think she is “growing” too: the green combination is appropriate for the occasion ( without the cape it would definitely improve); the black dress with white embroidery is lovely and the purple(?) dress quite good, and, surprise!: elegant shoes!

  5. The hat needs to go. It is unflattering, and a casual hat, not something one would wear to such a solemn occasion. Edwina

    1. Yes Edwina, I agree, the hat needs to go. But where?
It’s certain that Maxima wouldn’t be interested in it.
Maybe it could be transformed into a nice tea cosy for a royal teapot that has the photos of the Coronation on it.
      Long live British kitch.

    2. There may be a naked little beast, real or faux, that would like its coat back.

    3. If she is going to give the hat away, she should give the green dress and the cape away at the same time. How can she still wear such ugly clothes ? There are commoners with a little budget that are better dressed than she is.

  6. I LOVE that hat. Anyone know where it comes from?

    1. I’ve heard but it could be just a rumor that it came at a reduced price from the Oxfam charity shop in Westminister.
Part of King Charles’s slimming down policy with the royal budget.

    2. Maybe King Charles should have started the slimming down policy a bit earlier, before the coronation i.e.

  7. The black cape with the green dress is not a good choice. The dress would look better with the boots if it were a few inches longer. Overall, I do not think this is a good look.

    2. I have them back as well, and so do many ladies around me. Just a question of chosing the right color. Let her feel comfortable.

  9. The black cape, she wears often obviously it provides warmth, but in this instance, this doesn't look good.

  10. The cape and hat are strange choices, but I like all three dresses, with the purple my most favorite.

  11. Love Queen Camilla but very little love for some of these outfits. The blue/purple dress is lovely, and green coat is fine. However, I don't like the strange little cape, the pull on hat or the black dress with the bib
