The white sensible shoes never seem to go away, but we have otherwise lovely fashion here ! Bright colors do suit Princess Kako so well, though the paperbag waist may be a tricky option. Hope we'll see more fine looks in days to come.

I adore that cheeky red dress with matching shoes, incredible. She seems to have more sartorial freedom when alone and is less restricted by imperial protocol which I understand even governs the colour of outfits on specific occasions.

  3. Ooo that first outfit! The colour, the cut, the lace, the impeccable tailoring. Simple but nice matching shoes make the dress stand out. And she has a nice, approachable way of carrying herself too. Lovely!!

Very nice red dress with matching shoes. I like the colour combination of the second outfit but the skirt is too long and too wide and the white shoes kill the whole outfit. Such a pity, she is such a lovely young lady.

    1. Agree with you on every point. The colours of the second outfit are great but the skirt is too long.

The blue/green outfit actually was worn by then Princess Mako when she visited Bhutan a few years ago. Princesses Mako and Kako have different body types, but surely the ensemble was altered ? It's true it looks a bit too wide on Princess Kako.

The turquoise attire worn by Princess Kako during her visit to Cusco was given to her by her elder sister.

Absolutely gorgeous in my eyes. I just don't like the waist detail on the last outfit.

I recognise the second outfit as being one of her sister's, and I do think it suited Mako more than Kako, on whom it looks a little baggy (both sisters being trim but with different silhouettes).

That first dress I do believe we've seen on Kako a few times and it is very pretty.
