Prince Albert and Princess Charlene attended the town twinning reception between the municipalities of Monaco and Dolceacqua, at the Prince's Palace. At the reception, the Prince and Princess Charlene were presented with the 2023 twinning act, the original of the loyalty oath dating from 1523, as well as the Monegasque postage stamp issued on this occasion.

Lovely !!! I like it very much. First I was going to write : my regret Charlene is the only womand, and then I discovered there was another lady as well. Wonderful
ReplyDeleteSorry, very boring outfit even if it’s from Chloe !!
ReplyDeleteShe can turn something very minimalist into an attractive outfit, far away from boring; not everyone can do that. Good choice of colors, slightly oversized suit. Is she really changing hair color every week, or so ? We should see the color in reality...
DeleteCharlene does not have to impress anyone. She is a lady of class and integrity. Charlene stay the way you are.
DeleteClassy not boring
DeletePrincess Charlene can never look boring. She is too beautiful !
DeleteSuperbe Charlène dans ce tailleur/pantalon très bien coupé de couleur camel porté sur un chemisier noir ; j'adore sa couleur de cheveux très délicatement méchée !
ReplyDeletei thought taking time from wearing all that black would look spectacular but this is a very boring oversized suit

Charlène est très chic. Ce coloris lui sied à merveille

For all the people who don’t love Charlene in black … here she is in beige! … and black. And I think all black suits her better than this rather stark beige? With such a large canvas of beige it would have been good to have a beautiful scarf to add some colour (some red, white, et ) or at least to break up the beige … or for the jacket to be fitted and not oversized. It ends up bland colour with bland shape and there she is pretty, but lost in the suit. I wonder why she chooses this styling. The lady standing with them in the photo when signing the book is a good example of simplicity of colour made really attractive through an interesting cut / shaping. - AnneLise
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Too much beige for my liking and I think she usually looks great in black or navy. As you say, she is swamped by this suit
DeleteGreat looking suit and well fitted. css
ReplyDeleteNice combination of the suit with the black blouse. Gives Charlene a radiant appearance.
DeleteSorry, this suit does nothing whatsoever for Charlene. My granny had a suit that was as oversized, badly tailored and atrociously coloured when she was 70, and it did nothing for HER either. Ditch this color, Charlene, please, for the love of God, and give this suit to charity.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteOh, no a light color. It's not the season why isn't she wearing black 😉
ReplyDeleteI think her hair is the best its ever been, keep on smiling.
ReplyDeleteBut the oufit!
She looks very stylish. Love the color of her hair, she looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAgree, her hair is looking great. Very stylish.

Unexciting and not especially flattering outfit but Princess Charlene looks great
ReplyDeleteThis is no from me for her serene highness. This outfit does nothing for her. At least her smile is lovely and she seems happy and healthy.

A sophisticated cappuccino shade for this pantsuit and the contrast with the maybe silk black blouse underneath is so classy.
ReplyDeleteCharlene looks marvellous and her makeup is applied to perfection.
Beautiful hair and nail polish shade too
This pantsuit suits Charlene. The colour is not my cup of tea, and it has a very oversized look, but she looks wonderful in it. Hair and make-up are really good. I'm glad she's out and about these days. Damsel Dragonfly
ReplyDeleteI can’t remember seeing Charlene looking so well! Her hair style and colour is so flattering. I love the honey beige suit, with the black blouse. More than all that, can we take a minute to enjoy her gorgeous engagement ring! It’s stunning! Bea
ReplyDeleteIf ever I have the opportunity to have a cup of coffee and a chat with Princess Charlene, I won’t be able to restrain myself to ask what she does, or has done, to have such beautiful skin which is highlighted with perfect makeup. Her younger years in a sunny hot climate in Rhodesia and South Africa plus her teenage years in chemically treated water hasn’t left any wear/tear marks on her skin.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe she has a top professional makeup artist.
Whatever, I’m going to ask.
Yes, I think that lots of beauticians and makeup artists have put all their expertise at Charlene's service.
DeleteI bet there must have been the most up to date skin care treatments ( oxygen is likely to be just a part of the process) which can explain her faultless complexion.
I can't catch a very clear sight of the kind of makeup technique used here but I can say offhand that it is a blending of different techniques, such as soft strobing and baking plus at least two pumps of a fixing hydrating mist as the finishing touch to keep everthing in place for hours.
I'm not sure but a lip oil instead of or just applied on a classic lipstick could have been used.
Please, don't tell that to your talkative neighbour but I am pretty sure that Charlene's classy nail polish is ..
sexy black!😉🤭
Deadeggs, if you look up photos of Charlene as a swimmer and when she first was photographed with Albert, you’ll see a very different face and quite sun-worn skin. She has changed her face beyond recognition (nose, chin, cheeks, forehead, teeth, lips - all) and is constantly receiving further changes. There is no secret in that - simple photo comparisons make it clear. I feel very sad for her because she was pretty and natural and wrinkled and imperfect - and glowing with happiness. I find it so sad that the pressure has been there - whether from herself or others - to so totally change what was already lovely and happy. - Fiona.

DeleteOf course ,changes occur during a person' life as time goes by.
It is called age progression and is a natural process.
However , some royal ladies and also commoners may decide to choose ways- I mean cosmetic treatments- to help slow down age progression and improve their physical aspect, be it wrinkles, face volumes, sun- related dehydration and they may even receive dental care, fancy that!
Alas, some other women ,on the contrary, decide to do nothing or very little to benefit from what modern cosmetic research offer them on worldwide markets.
I get the impression that you are not acquainted with the most basic skin care steps and I bet that you do not even know what wonders a day - and especially- night serum- just to make an example- can do on lines, wrinkles and a range of facial imperfections.
Serums are just complements and the list of modern cosmetic treatments- nothing to do with cosmetic surgery- is really huge.
In addition, makeup techniques can really turn even an ugly woman into an attractive lady.
Just imagine what makeup can do on born beauties such as Charlene!
I think you have a long, long way to go before you can get used to a modern approach to beauty .
You seem to be puzzled at -or should I say unaware of?- what an absolutely normal' skin care routine entails and at what makeup steps and tips are used to really build up volumes on a woman' s face and lips.
If you ever happen to see something about the type of glam makeup skilful hands applied to Marilyn Monroe's face back in the 50/60s, you' d be left speechless.
For example, do you know that at least there different lipstick red shades + different lip pencils were applied only to her lips to make them look fuller, luscious and glossy?
Not to mention foundations and eye makeup!
That's why I suggest you to cheer up and make up for lost time learning about the most up- to - date beauty treatments.
Now or never!👍
Charlene looks like her old elegant and gorgeous self. I am so very happy that she is letting her hair go back to its natural blonde. Brunette doesn't suit her.
