On November 14, 2023, Prince Christian attended the meeting of the Council of State at Christiansborg Palace, and signed the solemn declaration on abiding by the Constitution in the presence of Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik and the government.
It is a requirement that Prince Christian makes a solemn declaration of his intention to abide by the Constitution before the Prince will be able to be appointed as regent in case both Queen Margrethe and Crown Prince Frederik are prevented from governing.
Already, Crown Princess Mary, Princess Benedikte and Prince Joachim can assume the function of regent and thus perform the duties of the head of state.
Big new step for Christian! All the very best to him and the Danish monarchy ☺️
ReplyDeleteVery mature and impressive looking Prince Christian. What a consolation he must be to his mother and HM Queen Margrethe.

DeleteWhy???
If you want to see a better picture of H.R.H. Crow Princess Mary in a very beautiful ice blue "coat", White slags and ditto blouse, tjek this link: https://www.kongehuset.dk/foto-video/h-k-h-prins-christian-i-statsraadet
ReplyDeleteFirst time to see Christian wearing a grown up suit, usually its multi coloured checked suits. Nice of Mary to wait in the car for them
ReplyDeleteOn the fashion side of things, I like Mary's outfit best and love that she included the broach she wore the day Christian was baptised.. The queen always looks smart in red.
ReplyDeleteI like Mary’s coat…pretty color.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I always love seeing the next generation of royals starting to take on their formal duties.
ReplyDeleteQueen Margrethe's red jacket is lovely and CP Mary looks terrific in her trousers and coat outfit. I know there have been debates about "colours for seasons" on this site before. Much though I like the outfit, I wonder if it is too light for this time of year. It certainly stands out among the more sober colours in the group photo
Beautiful pics of the handsome young man with his proud parents and the Queen.

Love the photos! HM looks wonderful in her red jacket--you can see the pride in her eyes with both her son and grandson now serving as Counselors of State and potential regents. Mary looks beautiful in her light blue and winte white!

Seems Joachim maybe the Prince William of Denmark.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you say that? There is nothing linking Prince William (heir to the British throne) to Prince Joachim (spare to the Heir to the Danish throne)!
DeleteThey don't even have similar royal engagements or patronages.

Sorry @Anon 07:44 . Don't quite understand. Do you perhaps mean Prince Harry ???
DeleteLe prince Christian est vraiment un beau et surtout un grand jeune homme ; sur la dernière photo, nous le voyons avec ses parents tous fiers ainsi que la reine !
ReplyDeleteWhat????
ReplyDeleteMary looks so elegant in this outfit.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see the smile on Queen Margrethe’s face I think of the expression “the cat who got the cream”.
ReplyDeleteShe seems so happy, so proud and she has every reason to be so.
Congratulations to Prince Christian and may he have a long and happy life as a representative of the Royal Crown of Denmark and eventual king.
Princess Mary looks smart in her ensemble of white and pale blue.
Will there be any military training for Christian?
ReplyDeleteCP Mary's outfit is very elegant. Love the Queen's red jacket. Prince Christian, looks great.
ReplyDeleteThis must be the very first time I'm at a loss in commenting about the Danish Crown Family.
ReplyDeleteFashion- wise, I feel like there's kinda of too sharp a contrast between the formal clothes worn by everyone, whether royal or not, and Pss Mary, who looks like she is wearing something completely off tune somehow and more appropriate for a state visit say to an Asian country.
She surely stands out, still she looks a bit strange- though always so beautiful- in my eyes.
Other than that, the pride in the Queen' s and Crown Couple's eyes is more than clear.
What a momentous milestone in P Christian's personal and ' royals life, a lifelong commitment to his country and to his duties as a heir to the the Danish throne.
