On Wednesday November 15, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco inaugurated the two saluting cannons dating from 1881. The inauguration ceremony took place on the Fort Antoine esplanade, and was also attended by Princess Caroline of Hanover, Princess Stephanie of Monaco and Louis Ducruet.
Sublime Charlène dans cette robe noire sur laquelle elle porte un élégant manteau blanc aux lignes épurées ; look parfait avec les bottes ainsi que les gants. Est-ce que je vois Stéphanie avec des chaussures de sport ??
ReplyDeleteOui.
DeleteWhat else can I say about Pss Charlene?
ReplyDeleteWhatever the clothes, the fit, the cut, the design , the colour, she always looks like a human gorgeous statue dressed with excellent class, taste and subtle elegance.
All these qualities are inner born in a wearer, there's nowhere one can buy them.
Her smile , happiness and good health are a joy to see.

DeleteYou are so right. These qualities cannot be bought and some never manage to acquire them no matter how much they try. Charlene is super elegant.
DeleteAgree, Charlene is super elegant - always a pleasure to see.

DeletePrincess Charlene looks marvelous in the winter white coat and black ensemble. Such elegant simplicity needs no further accessories or bright colors. She brings light just with her sweet smile.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree ! Very good choice of white coat for an evening event.
DeleteYes she brings light.
Lovely. Absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove the style and color of Caroline's jacket.
ReplyDeleteWow, this ensemble looks really sophisticated, beautiful in its simplicity. I don't know if she uses a bit more makeup lately, maybe yes, but whatever it is, she looks smashing. (GM)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful elegant coat. Can't make out the rest but the overall impression is very good.
ReplyDeleteWow, Charlene looks fantastic! Happy and relaxed, and enjoying herself. MR
ReplyDeleteJust a thought.
ReplyDeleteI believe that a look is like a symphony orchestra, it' all about melting sounds coming from different instruments.
The blending possibilities vary, going from a good to a sublime overall execution.
Fashion- wise, the physique du role and class are essential requirements.
Here Charlene has hit the high notes , that's surely a higher level ' performance' - so as to say- but she knows how to get even higher than this.
That happens when she wears her fabulous evening gowns imo.
What an inspirational lady she is!
Nicely said P. the original. Great comparison.
DeleteThank you, you' re so kind, @ Deadeggs.
DeleteOh, you know, @ Deadeggs, I' ll never make it out, I mean, why black is so ostracized on this platform?
DeleteIt's one of the key words of the fashion bible.
Black is the colour of elegance par excellance, of the night, of mystery, of the unknown, of half said words, of drama, of expectations...and of seduction!
Everthing can be conveyed through black and unfortunately, yes, It Is also the colour associated with death and mourning.
I think one should never cling to this obsession black=funerals, though.
maybe this obsessive association abides in minds not used to wearing black on other occasions!
I mean...ehm...very earthly yummy ones!🤭😉
Pity, I wish these sad people could experience the huge potential of black clothes...and ...ehmmm... of black underwear too!
Naughty lady, no??🤭😉😉
That's just what I really think.
I cannot even conceive a wardrobe lacking black pieces.
I would tell some sad women lingering on this blog all day long:
" Hey, do you know what impact black and red clothes have on a man' s mind?
Even wearing black sunglasses can make the difference sometimes.
Just put the black potential to the test and, you, sad women, won't be back here in tears and with just funerals on your minds but with loads of joy and a relaxed mood!"
Ok, I' m gonna stop the naughty side of me now, enough said.
😉😂👋
About black:
DeleteIn a traditional symphony orchestra both male and female musicians usually wear black. It has also been THE colour of court dress in 17th century Spain and late 18th century Sweden.
There can be personal preferences not wearing black. I was 12 years old when my father died. At that time the tradition dictated that "sorrow dressing" was obligatory: 3 months only black, the next 3 also grey and white were allowed, even children over a certain age. After that I never wore black. It took several decades before I started to experiment it. But I never said to other people that they should not wear black. My "black" has been dark navy. By the way, black is a "bad colour" near my face.

DeleteYou know, I do wish I could give you a feedback based on your comment 17/11/23 at 07:27 and I guess you' re just craving for my reply.
Fact is that you did not catch the meaning of my comparison fashion- symphony orchestra, as simple as that.
Neither musicians/ royals in the past wearing black nor your habits related to using black clothes were any matter of discussion in my previous comment.
I think you and me are moving on two totally different levels of significance as always.
I believe that loss and sorrow following the death of dear ones must never become a pretext to hate a colour or positive attitudes towards life shown by other people , particularly beautiful women.
Mourning abides in one's heart only, garments being pure form and saying nothing at all.
That's just sticking to imposed traditions.
Anyway, old fashioned habits and personal experiences have nothing to do with royal or not royal ladies wearing black out of their personal taste and fashion sense.
They should be commented on only if and when commentators possess an essential modicum of fashion sense and personal elegance themselves, be it in their bodies, demeanors and manners.
If all this is lacking , some commenters had better keep their unpleasant/snide remarks on beautiful women wearing black and dark colours to themselves.
Charlène est splendide

Apparently C. likes cannons. Best mood for a long time.
ReplyDeleteOn another Royal site (French), where the critics can be tough, they give Princess Charlene a 100% positive and glowing vote.
ReplyDeleteWords such as sublime, class, elegance, magnificent.
T’was a pleasure to read their comments.
Bravo chère Princess Charlene.
Yes, all compliments and positive comments are absolutely well deserved.
DeleteCharlene has the unparalleled ability of flying high with minimal super chic and classy pieces.
No embellishments, no emblazoned clothes , essential jewellery, solid contrasting colours on a marble- like body structure.
Just a touch of daring and descreetly seductive class sometimes like the black nail polish shown in one of the previous posts about her.
And that feminine cold platinum blonde hair shade, which is the best finishing touch.
Sheer perfection.
A bit like blending ice and fire.
That's what I sometimes choose to do myself when combining pieces accessoires and makeup together.
I call it classy soft intriguing.
-Dorothe-
ReplyDeleteThis is another ‘wow’ moment from Pss Charlene. Something of late has changed, and she is absolutely glowing. She seems happy relaxed and contented, and it’s showing in her countenance! It’s good to see. Bea
ReplyDeleteAgree with your observations @Bea.
DeleteSo good to see and I'm sure it gives a lot of happiness to Prince Albert.
Lorraine (Rose)
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlene looks just brilliant. The black dress with the cream/winter white is stunning. I like Princess Caroline's pink jacket and, it may just be the lights, it looks as if there's some colour in her hair. Princess Stephanie looks good too. I love the way the two sisters continue to support their brother
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? HSH Princess Charlene is BACK! She is looking simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePss Charlene looks superb, a wonderful ensemble.
ReplyDeleteYES indeed.
DeleteGorgeous and super chic Princess Charlene seems to radiate happiness here. I love her whole look! Princess Caroline looks lovely in her bright pink jacket while Princess Stephanie looks nice as well as comfortable in her scarf and coat.
