I am really glad to see Mette- Marit on this trip to Berlin.
The first pic says it all about her beauty, inside and out.
The second last and the last pics featuring Haakon smiling and happy is revealing and goes well beyond any institutional duty.
This is the happiness of a man deeply in love with her wife and proud to have her by his side again.
When he has to attend forced solo engagements , he looks like strained and lost.
She seems to push life into his veins, no matter the place where they are.
Sorry, I do not care about fashion this time.
I want to look at this amazing example of true love.

      Thank you, @ Deadeggs.
Yes, they have a wonderful aura all around them, I think this must be the magic of true love.
Fashion is just a side detail in this case.
The visible essence of the love of two soulmates for each other is a privilege and a gift granted to whoever happens to see them together.

      @ Deadeggs
You know, when I was just a girl and a dreaming one too- I'd say- I happened to read a book about an intense love story but I can't remember the title and the author now.
I was left speechless by a sentence in particular , which sounded more or less like this:
" They met and their souls understood each other".
I was lucky to experience that myself in my life and now I can understand even more the meaning of that sentence looking at this pics.
This Is the real power of love beyond all duties, beyond good and bad.

How nice that MM could join her husband in Berlin. Today are two days in History, one very painful the other filled with hope. I like both her outfits at the 1st one, only the pants were too long. The second one was great love this coat. BTW Pss MM looks very good. css

  4. Wonderful couple! MM looks very good in both outfits ...and healthy. Her trousers have the perfect length and they are not too wide. Haakon has got new shoes 👍!

MM looks fabulous! A line looks great on her instead of waisted design. Her hair looks stunning and her makeup is beautiful. MR

  8. I think her trousers are too long but I like both of her coats (though, weirdly, ALL of her coats seem too tight around her shoulders and upper arms).
I wonder if they went to Berlin specifically to be present for this event or if their visit coincided with it. I don´t see any connection with Norway.
Also, I wonder how Scholz could dare commemorating the end of the cold war while at the same time doing everything to start a new one.

I wonder if their main reason for being there was not the 85 year memorial of The Night of the Broken glasses. Lots of Norwegian jews were persecuted during the Nazi occupation of Norway. The candle lighting seems to suggest that.

I wonder it had something to do with the 85 year commemoration in Berlin of The Night of Broken Glasses. Many jews in Norway were persecuted by the Nazis

  10. Concerning fashion: dark blue looks always beautiful on MM, though the pants seem too long. The grey coat is special and nice, but I would have chosen something dark that gives more contrast than a white shirt (see the model). And an unbuttoned shirt does not lend itself well for wearing it under a buttoned-up heavy coat, there is a pull on the shirt that makes it appear somewhat untidy. (GM)
