Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is making a 3-day visit to Germany on the occasion of the Swedish-German Business Day. On November 17, the Crown Princess attended the awarding of the 20th Swedish Enterprise Award at Kurhaus in Wiesbaden.
For 20 years, the Swedish Enterprise Award in Germany has been presented to Swedish companies that have successfully established themselves on the German market. The award is presented in several categories. Crown Princess Victoria is the patron of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany.
Congratulation of the award winners on stage was followed by a short speech of Crown Princess Victoria. The Crown Princess then attended a gala dinner also held at Kurhaus, hosted by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany.
The dress us something I could not picture her wearing.
ReplyDeleteShe looks absolutely fantastic. Stunning! Love her hair and the dress. Although it is different from her usual style. But it fits her so very well. Really like this outfit very much. Thumbs up. Maybe a new stylist?
ReplyDeleteShe is ravishing! MR
DeleteThe middle part is really good for her! happy to see it. I could not have imagined that I would like animal print from neck to toe on Victoria (or anybody, for that matter). But actually, I do, because she has a fabulous silhouette and the dress serves it, follows it, does not try to distract from it with (for this print wholly) superfluous further decorative elements. (GM)
ReplyDelete"She has a fabolous silhouette" - exactly. That is why she can wear it! (I for one could not... sigh...)
DeleteI completely agree with you GM.

ReplyDeleteCP Victoria looks stunning ... styling her hair with a middle parting is a great look for her ...
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning - a real stand-out, fully sequinned, sparkling frock for a princess at an awards night. I don’t normally like animal prints (for myself) but she makes this a knockout! - AnneLise
ReplyDeleteI dislike all animal prints and this shiny thing is no exception. It completely swallows the CP.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you; it's something different , but there it stops for me.
DeleteLove CP Victoria, but this gown's print is a little 'too busy'. Edwina
ReplyDeleteThe dress is not bad for the occasion. Not sure she has the right shoes for that dress, nice boots might have been better.
ReplyDeletePlease don't encourage her to wear boots in case the dreaded shooties reappear!
DeleteWe can see on the model what this dress would look like when combined with boots. I don´t think at all that it is good match. Victoria´s choice of shoes are definitely preferable imo.
DeleteI am also judging from the model, and think that "high boots' would give a more modern look.
DeleteVery different look--the pattern--for Victoria. She looks amazing here--dress fits her like a glove. Her hair, makeup, and jewelry are perfect.

Hm, hübsch gewagt, besonders der Rückenausschnitt. Etwas viel Animalprint und gewiß nicht langweilig.

Afraid I am not a fan of this dress. She's certainly slim enough to wear it wee (lucky girl!) but the high neck allied to the long sleeves make it look as if she's been poured into it. A V neck, boat neck or cowl neck would have improved it massively. Love the blue dress worn by the other lady,
ReplyDeleteI don't like the blue dress worn by the other lady. It looks like a second hand dress that she found in a recycling store. I prefer the top and pants of the blond lady who stand next to CP Victoria (picture N° 3). Apparently there was not a specific dress code : l see long dresses, short dresses, pants, blazers, etc....
DeleteI very much prefer Victoria's dress than the lady in blue.
DeleteAn OK gown css
ReplyDeleteI like CP Victoria in this dress. It is different than her usual style but she looks lovely and with her new hair style it is perfect. Why shouldn't she try something new, she has a perfect silhouette to try several new styles. In the meantime she always looks so natural and at ease.
ReplyDeleteThis is a hard one for me. I don’t like it and then, when I look again, I like it.
ReplyDeleteI think it’s called “on the fence”.
It goes down well for an evening event and certainly helps to identify the chief of the show.
Do we know if Princess Victoria wore the version with the cut out back?
Agree 100% with the positive hair and makeup comments.
p.s. have just come across a photo on another site and yes, she wore the version with the cut out back.
Her new hairstyle is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHer dress is a….bit different than usually 🤭
I like that she tried something completely different, and as such it is already a great success. I think she looks great. And as the guest of honour she should and does stand out. Do I like the style as such? I´m not sure. It´s a lot of bold print. And very shiny. I initially thought that the length is a bit short but upon further thinking I like that her shoes are visible so that she doesn´t literally drown in leopard pattern. I feel like the dress is bold enough so nothing more should be added; at the same time it would be good to have something for the eye to rest on. And I´m thinking a thin belt would maybe work, though I´m not sure.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I think she looks great. She´s got the curves need for this type of dress and looks a lot better in it than the model. The fit is perfect. And her hairstyle is neat with this style. For once, I´m glad it´s not open as it might have looked like a wild jungle mane together with this dress. She really needed a sleek look and fully succeeded.
