Last week, the Princess of Wales made a surprise visit to Leeds West Academy in Rodley, West Yorkshire. Leeds West Academy is a secondary school with academy status. It is well known for specialising its area of education in the performing arts. The school is a member of White Rose Academies Trust.

DeleteI like her trouser suits and I also like her wearing them for appropriate occasions, this is one of them. It is business-like and she is doing everyday business. Anyway, as I said I like her trouser suits, except this one. Not the best green shade, not the most flattering cut of the jacket and the position of the sleeve buttons is just Burberry's attention seeking without any added attractiveness for the wearer. (GM)

ReplyDeleteKate looks great as usual, showing her versatility in choice of fashion. I loved the dress up style of pretty dresses and heels, but honestly thought how impractical it was to bend and reach and sit in a dress on these outings. I love her style whatever she wears..... Not boring at all.

DeleteJust a general remark on "boring". We are interested in what she wears, but the Princess of Wales is not a clothes horse for fashion houses with the aim to entertain people with her choices. If some people find her choices boring, that's fully OK, but why do these people think that the public and the readers of this blog are interested in the fact that they are bored - instead of fashion related statement? If something is really boring, then it is all these "boring" posts. (GM)

Now she,as are many of the royal ladies,wearing beautifully tailored business suits, people are still complaining! Jeez,what's a princess to do?! Most women wear professional attire for work,if not a uniform supplied by the employer

I think QL of Spain and CPM of Denmark know how to switch their outfits from one occasion to the next, and their is more variation in their business suits and the more ‘ princesse’- like dresses. Anyway, the POW looks always elegant.
DeletePrinzessin Catherine wird sich bald selbst an sich satt sehen, diese Hosenanzüge tun nicht viel gutes für diese bezaubernde junge Frau und Mutter. Würde sie den Mut haben, die Haare zu einem frechen mutigen Kurzhaar zu tragen, wäre der Stil sicher besser, aber ihre so wundervollen Haare offen getragen und diese strenge in den Anzügen gefällt mir absolut nicht. ReplyDeleteLove this green suit! She looks wonderful. While I love her modern (for the BRF) look these days I do miss seeing a variety of looks for her outings. Her coat dresses have been so beautiful--it would be nice to see a few repeats of those too.

Princess Katherine looks lovely in whatever she is wearing, but the constant wearing of suits is getting monotonous now. It would be nice to see her in a dress every now and then. What does she wear when she is off duty?

ReplyDeleteI think the middle parting of her hair is not flattering, reminding me a bit of curtains. Years ago I loved her hair shoulder length, it looked much fresher !!
