The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Cardiff to celebrate the start of Black History Month and to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Empire Windrush to the UK. The Prince and Princess visited the Grange Pavilion and met members from the Windrush Cymru Elders, Black History Cymru 365, and the Ethnic Minority Youth Forum for Wales.

Great suit.

ReplyDeleteQuelle surprise, another matching suit and another white shirt! She looks great and I think this may be her best suit, but I just can’t get excited about seeing the same outfit repeated for so many events in a row. If I’m not mistaken, isn’t this the same suit she just wore to meet Tim Cook?
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree!
DeleteYes I do think you're right.
DeleteIf it's the same suit then I think it looks much better with the white
shirt compared to the turtleneck.
Her hair is styled nicely .
seems like this business look is becoming permanent, i do miss younger Catherine's style
ReplyDeleteMe too! Zofia
DeleteSame here. Since the Queen died, the Princess of wales has worn trousers much more frequently. Most of the trouser suits are smart and suit her well, some are lovely. Personally, and I know many will disagree, I miss the elegant dresses and coat dresses.
DeleteLovely suit, really great working uniform (if it is going to become one). But really frustrating "celebrity" hairstyle, hanging from all sides into her face. This is not really how you communicate with people, constantly swiping away your hair. (GM)
ReplyDeleteAgree !!
DeleteA navy trouser suit is one of the basic pieces of every woman's wardrobe. Navy color is very universal, suits almost everyone and is not as "heavy" as black. But a blouse with a big collar (like the model has) or a turtleneck with a bold (for example, red) color would go much better with the costume.
ReplyDeleteHer hair is beautiful.
Stephanie
That’s precisely the point. A navy pinstripe suit is a very basic item. Nothing more boring.

I am so happy that the princess of Wales lately is wearing Just simple suits at a working visit. So with these simple clothes she does not distract from the important content of the visits. I like it
ReplyDeleteNice casual chic outfit .
ReplyDeletePss Kate's hair is just spectacular.
I agree. Very flattering in all respects.
DeleteAs someone stated before (and earned critics) her face changed somehow.
ReplyDeleteLately, her face has looked more like pictures I've seen of her when she was much younger. Maybe she's put on a little bit of weight and its showing in her face?
DeleteNoticed the same, not shure, if it is a little weight gain or something else?
DeleteShe looks amazing in her suits. I just hate to see them become her 'standard' choice/uniform.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think her body shape is more suited to dresses. The haircut is also too much Charlie's Angel. Frieda
ReplyDeleteLOVE the suit, hate the Farrah-Fawcett-remembrance hair.
ReplyDelete-Nika-
Agree !!
DeleteMay I ask you if you 'hate' the hairstyle and resemblance or just Kate's luscious, long, thick, healthy hair itself?
DeleteYou know, I get the increasing impression that a spectacular mane like this one just irks you.
I may be wrong but I guess I know the reason of your hate, which could also explain your endlessly insisting on issues related to dyeing hair , particularly blonde hair.
Yes, I am personal cause I am a Scandi- blonde myself.
It all depends on one's hair texture to begin with and secondly on the good work of a PROFESSIONAL hairstylist+ the use of first rate products.
No self- dyeing when going blonde.
In addition, I just would like to know what Kate' s reactions could be, if a woman told her she ' hates' this resemblance of hers or just her mane!
DeleteYou see, I bring a strong, very strong, resemblance to Pamela Anderson, as I have already said elsewhere.
Having this kind of body structure is not that blessing and no bed of roses one could imagine because other women just hate you, I swear.
My resemblance to her is totally restrained to my physical aspect and hair though (the difference is that I'm taller than Pamela) but I am heaps different fom her as far as my personality is concerned.
Hope you won't hate me too.
* I bear a strong resemblance to
DeleteSeems that some commentators can't bear others opinions ;))
DeleteKann es sein, dass hier jemand den roten Faden verloren hat??
DeleteNo, @ Anonymous, nobody has lost anything, my comments sounds just reasonable.
DeleteYou should have a go at making sure what you are saying and what words you are using.
If you say you ' hate' something when talking about a woman, this resonates as a serious thing.
You sound as if you are hating a woman as a persona, not just a feature of her physical aspect.
Maybe you are careless or inaccurate when you write in a foreign language.
Or maybe you just did not understand what I wrote above.
It does not surprise me anymore.
Ok, never mind, just carry on .
Could you please be polite, P. We all can live with different opinions.
DeleteSome disturbing comments, which have nothing to do wirh fashion!
Delete@Anonymous,
Deletethere's no politeness in saying you ' hate' something in a woman , which sounds like you hate her for what she is as a persona.
Nor have you any right to fuel and showcase your hate over and over pretending you are just expressing your different 'opinions'.
My replies were consequential.
I am polite to whoever is polite and you are not.
Anyway, I do agree with your comment at 20:21 yesterday.
Yep, your hate is rather disturbing as usual, verging on spooky attitudes too.
These attitudes are risky if shown in everyday real life.
Hope you won't ever say you hate something in a woman if you happen to meet her in presence.
Just take a deep breath!
DeleteInquiétant!
DeletePeople can dislike and even hate a haircut. No one said he/she hates the person. Unlike so many who use much stronger words towards Kate’s sister in law.
DeleteBack to the haircut itself. It’s not my favourite one for Kate’s face. In my mind she looked better with shorter hair (no bangs) and a lighter colour. Cca 2014/15
Petra
Right, @ Anonymous in all of your guises and languages.
DeleteI guess we all know by now that you excel at targeting and bringing down beautiful royal ladies just for their being beautiful, not for what they wear, that's for sure.
I get the feeling that you may get so angry even when you see beautiful women in general, I mean the so- called commoners.
I still think that your hate is worth being kept under strictest control before it overwhelms you..
It is a very serious and dangerous state of mind ,especially in everyday real life.
I tend to think that It may be your way of relieving your own pains or sorrows, but it's no good.
It Is like you are always walking the red line and not being able to help yourself.
I hope you' ll stop all the hate you' ve spread throughout this site so far, though I think that you can't just control it by yourself.
Gotta leave now.
Can Helen help, please? This is going to far
DeleteThis pantsuit looks stylish and elegant, love the top underneath.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this new hair style of hers. She's had it for a couple of weeks now and it gives her a new persona. It's a lovely look for a woman in her early 40's, with 3 children, the eldest whom is 10yo. You go, girl!

Love seeing this suit on repeat--its beautiful. Catherine looks marvelous in her princess business attire--which seems to be becoming almost a uniform for her. I would like to see her mix it up a bit more--suits, dresses, skirts. Of course she could stroll out in a trash bag and look gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteJanet
She wears a pants suit perfectly. They work well together, who has ever helped them in their PR has done a fabulous job. The King must be very proud of them both, they seam to be doing a great job and people love them, they are just natural with the people they meet. It makes you feel happy watching them.
ReplyDeleteI find it odd that Kate would sit how she is in picture 5.Suit is unremarkable; would look better in a brighter colour. Hair is a bit messy. I found in the video of this visit Kate is clapping her hands in an unusual way; not how a lady would clap her hands. I'm not sexist, but a bit blokey(Tara)
ReplyDeletePlease for non-english speaker, what is blokey? e.
DeleteA “bloke” would be a not-so-polished guy. The opposite of a classy lady.
DeletePetra
A bloke is merely another word for a guy, a man or a boy. Nothing to do with class. Therefore 'blokey' would mean 'mannish', or 'like a man'.
Delete- Anon 9:13
Thank you, my "school-english" is not helpful. e.
Deleteshe always looks good. I wish I looked half as good! Her hair is gorgeous! But I miss young Catherine’s style too.
ReplyDeleteOf course Kate cannot do wrong, even if she shows up in a potato sac. I love her younger haircut. I wonder how long she will wait to cut it a little bit shorter.
ReplyDeleteShe could also wear some of her dresses now and then for a change.
A coat dress is looooooooonnnnnng overdue. But yes, this is a great suit.
ReplyDeleteA little boring. Maybe a different top would have made a difference. css
