  1. This warm yellow is a wonderful colour for Catherine!

  2. I like the blazer, even the color is strong. I don't care for this hairstyle. css

    1. I was surprised she did the short layers again since they didn’t work out well the first time she did it. Her hair is naturally curly and they just don’t sit right. I think she looks best with a side part but it’s not on trend right now. MR

  3. A lovely outfit on Catherine today.
The jacket fits her beautifully and the colour is warm and comforting. The flared trouser fit and length are also perfect.

  4. A lovely outfit for Catherine, perfectly styled. I like her hair this way with this outfit. Just one quibble: the harsh eyeliner under her eyes. She would have looked even better with softer make-up. Damsel Dragonfly

  5. Très joli jaune qui me fait penser au soleil mais avec ce pantalon noir évasé, je ne trouve pas que cela l'avantage ; j'adore sa couleur de cheveux !

  6. Wow, beautiful. I've never thought of yellow and black together - this is gorgeous. However, for the first since I've followed the Princess of Wales, I have to say I don't like her hair today. I don't quite know why - maybe too light for her?

  7. I have seen a short clip showing her at arrival. Endless hair manipulation either by shaking her head or using her hands to remove her bangs from her face. She wears a lovely outfit - but I am so disappointed by the overwhelming dominance of this hairstyle. (GM)

    1. GM--I agree about her hair. The cut is so popular right now--I'm a teacher and I see my teenaged girls wearing this look. The ones with curly hair have to struggle too much and I am seeing them use hair clips to deal with their hair. I am wondering if Catherine really wanted a change in her hair and loved the look on others, in magazines, etc--and is now finding it too hard to manage on an everyday basis--especially when she is at work.

  8. I do not like this Charlie's Angel's hairdo. I like the fringe, it softens her face, but the rest I do not like. She probably would not like my pixie, so all is good. She is lovely, love the outfit and she is always so engaged with her outings.

    1. That is an interesting comment ! What would royal ladies think of OUR style or look, assuming roles were reversed ! I just don't dare think of that. It would however be good to keep that in mind when tempted to criticize. Of course situations are totally different ... I know, we have our dreams ... By the way I have nothing negative to say about Prss of Wales' hair style. To me the difference is not so tremendous. I am however pleased that she doesn't wear the whole yellow suit ...

    2. Our style? When you are an ordinary person you are not subject to this type of criticism. And that is a right of every private person.
But if you are a royal who is supported by hard working taxpayers you are scrutinized in every way. It may not be fair to pick on Kate's appearance but that is one of the disadvantages of being a royal. And keep in mind she gets a great deal of privileges in return. Privileges we can only dream about. Criticism comes with the territory and I'm sure she knew what she was signing up for when she married William. My sense is she doesn't care what we all think about her. She doesn't care at all. Hats off to her!

  9. Hair looks shaggy to many layers I think too long no shine and colour is wishy washy looking like very tired hair needs a very good cut to no longer then shoulder length please or just above shoulder. What is it with these royal commoner women and all there very long hair

    1. The answer to your question is probably: because they like having long hair! Fair enough too.

    2. Do you think this has anything to do with extensions being readily available? Very few people wore hair this long in times past. Even celebrities. If they did it was the people in their teens and twenties.
Certainly not in their 40's and 50's. It is difficult to achieve such lengths at that age.

    3. This thread is disgusting. "What is it with these royal commoner women and all there very long hair[?]" -Anon 22:50
No, Anon 13:41, it doesn't have anything to do with extensions. It makes no difference what length hair woman had "in times past". We aren't living in the past. Obviously it is not difficult to "achieve such lengths" in one's 40's and 50's because Kate and many others have very healthy heads of hair.
It is possible only peasants can achieve this feat which would explain Anon 22:50's observation regarding the lowly commoners. Maybe those that are follicularly challenged should stop being jealous of those who have what they are unable to acquire.

    4. Women of 40 and 50 are not old yet. They dress young and they do their hair like young women. Why shouldn't they do it ? They have plenty of time to get old. Rose

    5. Anonymous 17:32 & 17:40 Are you saying that there are no celebrities that use extensions? They all have naturally full heads of hair? Are you that naive?

    6. Duchess Kate stepped out in September 2021 with deceptively thick, luscious locks framing her pretty features in bouncy curls. Royal fans were left questioning whether the royal had opted to have hair extensions put in after spotting her thick tresses appeared to be much fuller and longer than they had appeared at other recent engagements.

Extension expert Olia Cutz, Founder of The Extensionist, quickly settled the debate. "Although the transformation is very subtle, it does look like Duchess Kate has enhanced her natural length with few pieces of hair extensions," says Olia. "There are several undetectable hair extension methods these days.

"Kate could easily have had tapes or ultra bonds, which are incredibly tiny strands of hair extensions. They can add thickness and length to any hair type, but are so subtle they are incredibly hard to detect," Olia added.

    7. What do celebrities have to do with this conversation? I would love to know why there is such an obsession with extensions in the first place. Hair pieces have been worn by both men and women for centuries. The subject is Kate's hair. It is her own hair and she has a lot of it. Hair can be styled so it is sleek or styled so it has loads of volume. Hair can be pulled into a small bun or the same hair can be pulled into a bun that looks four times the size. Bigger looking hair does not mean hair has been added. It can be the case but it is not a given. Plenty of women have long hair more years than they should because they don't take care of it. I know women that are still married to their 80's hair. It looks terrible. If it is going to just grow, hang, and never be trimmed, it should go. If it is being maintained with a style, I say go for it. I think Kate is a bit slow to get trims, but it is healthy hair and she does have a style now.

      May I be totally honest?
The comments from @ Anonymous- except for the one at 17:32- sound like the seething ranting of an old woman still clinged to a past which does not exist anymore.
      Totally anachronistic views.
What' s worse is the burden of jealousy this woman feels on a daily basis stemming from whatever referers to the beautiful royal ladies featured on this site.
@ Anonymous' starements weirdly resonate as longing for as much as rejecting almost all the physical features, including hair, of these royal ladies
Exactly those body features this woman Is unable to achieve herself.
Insisting over and over on hair length style, bangs, colour, whatever, and finding imaginary faults in beautiful women are all signs of profound inner wounds
I expect all this ranting coming from an old lady, almost or totally bold, who probably never experienced how modern fashion and hairstyles are conceived nowadays.
I suspect there is an overly bitter woman behind that keybord who has never lived a satisfying existence throughout many decades.
I find all comments from @Anonymous (sometimes even signed with ever- changing names and written in all possibile languages) bringing down beautiful royal ladies as lacking purpose, totally baseless, namely bare shallowness worded out so as to form void comments.
I can imagine what there must be behind all this suffering and rage but no one can help her here.
A person' s lack of a valuable social and cultural background is bound to have a devasting effect on social interactions , both virtual and in presence, in most cases.

  14. So wish she wore the whole suit! It seems she’s trying to become a background player to the organizations she’s visiting, but she will never be and shouldn’t be. She’s a fantastic asset and should own her position with more powerful outfits. These outfits are typical corporate outfits that are just not very powerful.

    1. Why not ? Every woman is free to change now and then her style. If this style does not become her anymore, she will automatically try something different. It is her good right and it is not what you and I like but what she likes. Rose

  19. My goodness. Is there any colour this woman cannot wear? Not overly fond of the hairstyle, but the blazer is lovely. I hope she owns the full suit and would love to see it in all its glory in the future!

  21. Love the colour of the jacket, but please can we chose something else soon. The hair in front of her face, hmmm either bangs or not. This I find it makes a scruffy look.

  22. Since my aunt knitted me a huge black and yellow sweater ( giant bee look 😵‍💫) back in the late eighties, I don’t like a yellow-black color combination. Otherwise the POW looks nice.
