In the week of World Sight Day 2023, the Duchess of Edinburgh, as Global Ambassador for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, is visiting Ethiopia. On the 6th day of her visit to Ethiopia, the Duchess of Edinburgh attended a meeting with the President of Ethiopia Sahle-Work Zewde at the National Palace in Addis Ababa.

As a supporter of the Women, Peace and Security agenda, the Duchess also met with survivors of sexual violence in Tigray.

  2. This is a lovely dress. It suits the Duchess so much better than the other dresses (except the orange dress) we have seen lately. There is a big chance that the dress is also too long which would be a pity (we can't see it on these pictures). Doesn't she see the length ruins her whole dress. It is all about proportions. Rose

    2. Almost every time we see a British royal on this site, we comment on the dress/skirt being too long.
      To repeat myself again, I believe that this is the British fashion length that most women use, British that is.
      I know it can look out of balance etc, but it is in part of their “fashion” culture.
      Sometimes I think it is due to their climate.
