  1. I like the alterations HM Q Letizia has had made to her blue dress: shortening the hem, shortening the sleeves so they don’t pool over her hands, and completely redesigning the neckline to remove the bow and cut it into a vee-shape. The color looks really pretty on the Queen, too.

Lovely dress in my favourite blue and it looks so much better on the Queen than on the model. Happy she was able to change it into something better.
Leonore and her father both look great in their uniforms.

  9. Moi c’est la princesse que je remarque, elle est belle, trop belle. J’apprécie que Letizia ne porte pas une robe qui pourrait voler la vedette ā sa fille, même si elle est impeccable, comme presque toujours.

  12. Lucky Letizia had made the alterations on this dress. She must have a good sewing lady (or man ?). It is not the 1st time her dresses has been changed. But even then, to me the dress looks passé. The cut, the pattern, the flowers, the sleeves, etc... There is also to much contrast with the uniforms and the suits of the other men. Compared to them she is almost looking like the maid who is running behind her boss (picture N° 1 & 3). She has better outfits for an event like this. Rose

    1. Did you seriously expect Letizia to show up in military attire? That dress is be quite an elaborate and expensive outfit for a maid. I can't imagine her scrubbing toilets, vacuuming and cleaning in that dress.

    2. Did I spoke about military attire ? I said she has better outfits for an event like this. Did you ever saw her in a military outfit ? So don't tell things on which I didn't even think. A uniform means something special, festive, the ministers (I suppose they are ?) all were in a classic suit. I think Letizia is not dressed appropriately for an event like this. If you look at the pictures of former events were the King is wearing his uniform and other men in uniform too, she was always dressed chic, more sophisticated. Sorry, this dress is O.K. for a family diner and/or a reception with friends and children. Not for a military parade on the National Day of Spain. Rose

    5. This family seems to have made a conscious decision to present an image of an upper middle class family rather than elitist and out of touch. Letizia and the girls wear pieces that are affordable for average women or replicas can be found at a cheaper price. She also highlights different designers' work.
If she tried harder in the past it was never good enough. Our Lady of Perpetual Scorn always has j
ust the right classist rebuke while What about the king's ugly tie that matches nothing ! He could have worn gold to match Leonor's accessories or blue to match the dress but..he is handsome!!

    6. @ Anonymous 05:36. The King is wearing his uniform. I suppose he cannot change things like wearing another tie, if there is a black (or navy ?) tie that has to be worn with this uniform. Rose

First of all, how proud these parents must be of their daughter!
P .Leonor honors her role in the best way and she looks even more beautiful than ever in her uniform.
So professional and devoted to her country.
The Queen is impeccable as always, the King looks handsome just like the Prime Minister.
    Well done.

  15. Leonor et son père ont beaucoup de prestance dans leur uniforme ; quant à Letizia, j'adore le fond de sa robe sur lesquels nous voyons des motifs très délicats. Quel bel homme le Premier ministre espagnol !

  17. Queen Letizia always dresses apropriately and the blue dress looks beautiful. She doesn't need to stand out and be the center of attention.
